Lisa is a wonderful person - with a big heart and a good humor. It was very nice to have her in the house from the first until the last minute. She gave always her best everyday and was like a family member to us.
She cleaned in the house and it was always very well done and the kids loved her too. She did many things with them - often outside but

Also with the horses she mad a great job - she has a very good balance and a good feeling for them too :)
I really can recommend Lisa as a workaway :)
I had a very nice time with Sonja and Leo in Iceland. The family is very open-minded, loving and humorous.
Since the first day I was part of the family and I felt very welcome.
All arrangements have always worked very well and the communication has worked without problems.

… read more to get to know this family. I helped a lot in the household and looked after the children. I was also allowed to go to the stable and ride with Sonja at any time. This was all flexible. It was never boring and we always had a lot to laugh about. I am sure that I will come back again. Thanks to Sonja, Leo, the girls, Simbi & Nala and of course the horses.

It was great to get Feline into our family and I beam sure we will stay in contact or maybe she will even be back one day :). She was amazing with the kids - she was always "here" when she was doing something with them and had a lot of great creative things she created with them. Feline has a warm and kind heart and it was so nice to talk to her,

… read more spending time at the stable. Sonja and I also went horseback riding together which was awesome! She also taught me how to knit an Icelandic sweater, and successfully made me a knitting addict ;)

Dear Feline, thank you for youre help from january 2021 til middle of mars 2021. You are a reliable and trustful person and it was nice to have you with us! With Sonja and Leo I had my first "workaway" experience.
I spent 6 months here.
From the beginning I was warmly welcomed.
My tasks were mainly to take care of the children, help a little in the household or go shopping with Sonja. I had many possibilities and also the time to discover Iceland or to go riding with the horses of Sonja and

And after 6 months I didn't leave as a workawayer but as part of the family.
I had one of the best summers here and I will never forget this experience. I can't thank Sonja, Leo, the kids, the horses and of course Simbi and Nala enough for that.:)
