Description
Hi! We’re Lisa & Craig, and we’d love to welcome you to our lifestyle block & small vineyard just south of Martinborough, in the beautiful Wairarapa, New Zealand.
Craig is an Environmental Consultant, and Lisa is a Graphic & Textile Designer working in our wine business.
We have just finished building a house & now need some help in establishing some fruit trees & native plant gardens around the house. We’re looking for 2 couples or individuals to join us later in September /October 2026, dates tbc.
Please note that we are not offering vineyard work and you won’t be helping with our vineyard or wine business during your stay. We do however still want to share that part of our lives with you. We'd happily take you through the vineyard, explain how we grow the grapes, show you how our wines are made, and of course enjoy a glass together. We want you to see vineyard life and learn about what we do—you just can't carry out the commercial vineyard work yourselves.
Accommodation & food provided
Two queen beds: one in the house and one in a separate nook next to the house, & a 4 bed bunk room.
Shared bathroom with other work aways.
Swimming pool
We can collect you from Wellington city, or a Wairarapa train, and/or drop you back into Wellington city after your time with us.
It’s a peaceful rural setting surrounded by vineyards and farms — a wonderful place to experience a workaway.
We’d love to hear from you! -
