  Description

  Hi there, we're Jennifer and George, and we live in an old mill house on the island of Flores with our cats - Dorothy and Clementine.
  
  Our stone house is completely surrounded by Nature. There is a waterfall just outside the front door and views of the ocean and forest from the back.
  
  The house is off-grid. Our energy comes from two solar panels, the cooking is with gas, the hot water from a wood-fired tank, and our water is directly from one of the springs on the land.
  
  This is our dream house, and we're looking for someone who will take care of it with the same love and passion that we have for it. The gig is simple - just keep the house warm and clean, and give a lot of love and care to Dorothy and Clementine.
  
  When we're in Flores, we're busy creating an agroforest and homestead on the land surrounding the home

  Aide

  We're looking for someone to take care of the cats (very easy, give food, water, and cuddles) and to take care of our home. Ideally, you'd be comfortable with living the semi off-grid lifestyle that our home offers. Hot baths are made by creating a fire in the bailarina. The house is warmed through a fire place, but can still be a bit humid due to the nature of Flores being a notoriously humid island. Wood has already been sourced, but you will need to carry it to the home (~3 min walk from its storage).

  The house has one bedroom, a bathroom (flushing toilet, not compost), two living spaces, and a kitchen. Plus a large garden and river to explore, and beautiful hikes in the surrounding area.

  Mes animaux

  

  Clementine (3 ans)

  The lazy, yet endearing, brother of Dorothy. Likes to be cuddled and held on your shoulder and rocked like a baby. Also enjoys giving you kisses by rubbing his cheek on yours. Bit of a strange guy, but we love him.

  

  Dorothoy (3 ans)

  Queen of the house and top mouse catcher. Also somehow always has the most gorgeous smell. You'll understand once you meet her.
