Description
Hi everyone
we are Yane, Peter and Lorena , living on and maintaining four houses on a bush property in the foothills of the Blue Mountains . We enjoy sharing our life with travellers, showing them the Bluey's (Blue Mountains) We can always do with some help in the garden, landscaping, building, tiling etc in and around the houses to keep them up and running. We have many interests including gardening, music, bushwalking, canyoning, yoga, motor bikes and many more.
Yane is Danish/Australian, Peter has Danish/Canadian background and Lorena is German/ Argentinian. Some times Lorenas children stay with us, which is good fun. We enjoy working on and planning different projects that arise here. Peter's mum Yane lives in a house nearby and always loves a helping hand in the garden or cleaning some windows. She does pottery and makes a great cup of tea :)
We do prefer people who are over the age of 25, can speak and understand English relatively well and also have previous skill in building or maintenance work, brush cutters, lawnmowers, cleaning, weeding etc.

You will be encouraged to play some music :) weather and time permitting we can go canyoning and for some good bush walks. The historic towns Windsor and Richmond are not too far away. We have lived on this property for nearly 50 years, so you could say we are locals and we know the local area...

Aide
We like a bit of help gardening, building retaining walls, stacking wood, painting, cleaning, creative projects, playing music, cooking food, computers etc.. we enjoy working together and sharing tasks. We share the cooking and if you are vegetarian just let us know, we are not vegetarians but we love vegetarian food. Helpers need to be able to speak and understand English and preferably be over 25 years of age. We prefer to have two helpers stay with us at a time but happy with one who is self reliant :)

Hébergement
There are a few options here depending on availability. Most people share our house and stay in the loft or spare bedroom with simple sleeping arrangements and nice views. Shared cooking and dinning most nights, sometimes eating at Yane's place if we are lucky...

We live on the foothills to the blue mountains, so they are not too far away to explore. Bushwalking, canyoning, rock climbing all being very popular or just do the tourist thing, or just relax in this nice bushland setting. Travellers enjoy jumping on the train and visiting the city or going up into the mountains to Katoomba which is the Blue Mountains Tourist town...

We were so lucky to meet Yane, Peter and Lorena, they received us like one more of the family.
The place it's a dream and so calm with a lot of lovely singing birds, we saw a koala too!
we are agreed that it was the best first experience here in Australia!

My stay with Pete, Lorena, and Yane was better than I could've imagined. They are all so kind and welcoming that it felt like I was staying with family.
