hello, salut ! My name is Julien.
I starter planting Cocoas in 2016 and now i m taking care of 1500 cocoa trees. I live in a big house from the 70s with tropical forest on one side and amazing Atlantic ocean view on the other.

if you like physical activity in nature, this is the spot, and it s really out of the tourism paths
on the afternoon and weeks, you can go hiking to discover the island, hitchiking works pretty well. There is a beach 15 mn drive from the house and the top surfing spot is 30 mn away.
Aide
I need help in my cocoa exploitation for cutting and piling branches, taking away the vines, and during harvest season collecting the pods.
The cocoa trees grows under the shade of bigger trees. You are in the middle of a tropical forest.
It's a physical work because of the site topography. you work in the shade but you swet a lot.
Work is from monday to friday, starting at 7h30 till 12h.
I also need help in the garden and in the house, cleaning, painting, fixing etc.

You will have your own room with double bed and private bathroom. There is wifi access.
I ll get you the basics at the food market every week so you are fully independant for preparing your meals.

Manu & Micka stayed two weeks with us and it was very good experience. They are very dynamic and healthy. They can adapt to any tasks and are always happy to help. I spent 8 days working with Julien and it was an amazing experience! The work is hard, mainly because of the terrain which is very steep, but it's in the forest so you are in the shade most of the time. The job isn't for faint hearted or lazy people!
