Our centre is a charity which purpose is to benefit the people of Leeds and beyond through the promotion of the practice of meditation in general and the Buddhist faith in particular.
Everyone is welcome to our classes, buddhists and non-buddhists and so we are open to everyone who would like to help us running our centre and seeing what we do and being part of our lovely community.
From one or two weeks to start with, your stay can be extended if all goes well!
We have accomodations available with two single rooms and one single-sex shared room with two beds. There is also a shared bathroom. Working a few hours a day with two days off, you will have access to our full programme of meditations and teachings as well as the chance to visit the vibrant city of Leeds. For nature lovers we have a garden and the biggest city park in Europe 5 minutes away from the house (walking distance)!
We also have a centre where our classes take place in the heart of Leeds.

Living with us, you will be living in a community of people always happy to welcome and meet new people from all around the world. If you are interested in meditation, then you will learn so much about it from beginner practices to more advanced ones. And you will get the chance to visit the beautiful city of Leeds!
This host is a registered charity in the UK and is looking for help with their charity project.
The work at the temple in the city centre includes helping welcome the people before classes and after classes, help to keep the centre clean. At the house, help to keep the place clean and tidy, some gardening and general maintenance.

We have accomodations available with two single rooms and one single-sex shared room with two beds. There is also a shared bathroo. You will have your own cupboard space in one of the two kitchens for your food.
Some basic rules: no smoking, drinking alcohol or eating meat is allowed inside the house. No pets allowed.
Our house is located 10 minutes away by bus from the city centre of Leeds and also from the temple where our classes take place. We have also have a private car park if you have a car.
