  Description

  We are a family of two people, 7 dogs, and 9 cats. I am a fashion designer, and my boyfriend Soley is a cinematographer. We run a vegan fashion line inspired by Mediterranean wild flowers. The Studio covers a special project called Mediterranean Wild Flowers that celebrates and translates the fascinating beauty, sensuality, and information of endemic Mediterranean plants with prints and embroidery onto textiles, apparel, and objects. We recently started a platform called Rare Earth for art and environmental projects, aiming to bring together artists, designers, and creative minds who share empathy and passion for the arts and environment around a multidisciplinary program featuring talks, exhibitions, screenings, performances, and workshops.
  
  
  Burak and I are vegetarians. We used to live in Istanbul and moved to Bodrum with our animals 5 years ago. Bodrum is a city on the Bodrum Peninsula, stretching from Turkey's southwest coast into the Aegean Sea. We live in a beautiful loft in the olive forests, twenty minutes away from Bodrum city center. Bodrum is one of the most famous coastal cities in Turkey, with great sea, nature, history, and city life.
  
  Due to our art, design, and film projects, we sometimes need to be in Istanbul for several days a month. We are open to meeting and hosting beautiful people who can take care of our dogs and cats when we are at home and also during our travels. Dogs need to be walked two times a day. As the number is high, we walk with dogs by dividing them into two groups. The house is in nature, and the dogs are used to walking together and following us back home. We prepare their meals (chicken and rice or meat with pasta and vegetables...) every morning and feed them twice a day. For cats, we change the water and food pots twice a day. They like it clean. Since the house is in nature and animals are free to move from inside to the garden, a daily cleaning of the house is necessary, which takes around an hour per day. To sum up, we need our guests to help between 8:30 and 11:00 in the morning and around 17:30 and 19:30 in the afternoon to help prepare food for animals and feed them, walk with the dogs, and take care of cats and dogs with love and attention. Cleaning the house will be shared with everyone who lives in the house, including us. Other times will be free for our guests. We will also be very happy to share time together with our guests at home and around Bodrum to be friends, learn from each other, and have beautiful memories together.

  THE DIFFICULTY OF THE HOUSE : There is no public transfer passing from the village where we live.The village is 25-minute forest walk or 15-minute cycling distance to the nearest center, Kızılağaç, where you can find public transportation. Bodrum city center and Yalıciftlik Seaside are both 20–25 minutes away from Kızılağaç by public transfer and 15 minutes by car. We have a car. We can give rides to our guests to Kızılağaç twice a day and make an arrangement about transfer according to our and your programmes.
  
  
  We are looking for nice people who have an understanding of animal nature, have experience with dogs, and feel comfortable with them. It is important to take care of them and realize quickly if any of the cats are missing or have a health problem. We always keep an eye on them and are in close contact.

  Me and my boyfriend are very open to different cultures and believe that we can learn from each other while enjoying our friendship. We moved to Bodrum from Istanbul 5 years ago. Bodrum is a great Mediterranean city with nature and historical sights. We would be happy to spend time together and exchange ideas. We are the home of a human-animal family. I think our guests will experience a beautiful harmony between humans and animals where they can be exactly friends. Rather than an owner-animal relationship, we have a family-friend type of loving and fun relationship that needs to be experienced.

  We are open to meeting and hosting beautiful people who can take care of our dogs and cats when we are at home and also during our travels. Dogs need to be walked two times a day. As the house is in nature, it is easy to walk with them with and without the leash. They are used to walking together and following us back home. We need the workaway guests to prepare the meals (chicken and rice or meat with pasta and vegetables...) every morning and feed them twice a day. For cats, the water and food pots shall be changed twice a day. Cats like the pots clean:) Other times will be free for our guests. To sum up, we need our guests to help between 8 and 10:30 in the morning and around 17:30 and 19:30 in the afternoon to help prepare food for animals and feed them, walk with the dogs, and take care of cats and dogs with love and attention. Cleaning the house will be shared with everyone who lives in the house, including us. Other times will be free for our guests. We will also be very happy to share time together with our guests at home and around Bodrum to be friends, learn from each other, and have beautiful memories together.

  Hébergement

  Our house is a big Loft House in the olive forests. Our Workawayers will have a room with a double bed. So we can invite one person or a couple. Our guests will have a separate bathroom with a shower. The food will be supplied by our side. Cooking and going to the market jobs will be shared.

  Our guests can go to swim, walk in nature, enjoy music and cultural events in the city center, and visit Greece or close locations by boat or autobus. Bodrum is a city that has many different coasts with beautiful sean and sun. The cities close to Bodrum are also great with nature and historical spots.
