Description
Welcome to our project made with love and passion for organic farming and happy animals! I am Franco, I am 31 years and together with my friend Anosheh (58) we run a farmhouse in the countryside near Loreto Aprutino (PE) from july 2025! Anosheh is the owner of the house and the land coming once a week for help. I live here and I'm taking care of the work on the land and the maintenance of the property as well.
The place we live in is in full nature with a beautiful panorama: the hills of Abruzzo and the highest mountain in the Apennines, the Gran Sasso. As the project was born recently, there is a fresh energy in the air and lots of action well complemented by the peaceful surroundings. We enjoy the fruits of the Earth through a slowfood cuisine using products that come mostly from our garden.
We have many trees: 700 olive, 5 fig, pomegranate, apple, pear, plum, cherry, walnut, almond, hazelnut, jujube and 3000mq of grapevine!!!
We cultivate old grain (SOLINA and FARRO MONOCOCCO) and I make bread with a big wood oven!
Also we would like to take 5 sheep in the future for cutting the grass instead of the tractor. Right now we are using first tractor and after my chickens.
In the end I should mention honey and bees: my dad has 20 bee houses in the mountains and we are planning to take 2/3 houses here in Loreto.
We are looking for someone who wants to live a simple life, to grow internally and to create a bond with nature with the aim of making this piece of land a little paradise :)

Benvenuti nel nostro progetto, fatto con amore e passione per l'agricoltura naturale e per gli animali felici! Mi chiamo Franco, ho 31 anni e insieme al mio amico Anosheh (58) gestiamo una tenuta in campagna vicino Loreto Aprutino (PE) da luglio 2025. Anosheh è il proprietario di casa e del terreno e viene una volta a settimana per dare una mano. Io vivo qui e mi occupo dei lavori agricoli e della manutenzione della proprietà.
Il luogo in cui viviamo è immerso nella natura, con un panorama meraviglioso: le colline abruzzesi e la montagna più alta dell'Appennino, il Gran Sasso. Essendo il progetto nato di recente, si respira un'energia fresca e innovativa, il tutto ben integrato dalla tranquillità dell'ambiente circostante. Gustiamo i frutti della terra attraverso una cucina slow-food utilizzando prodotti che provengono principalmente dal nostro orto.
Abbiamo molti alberi: 700 ulivi, 5 fichi, melograno, melo, pero, susino, ciliegio, noce, mandorlo, nocciolo, giuggiolo e 3000 metri quadri di vigneto!
Inoltre coltivo due grani antichi con cui faccio il pane con un grande forno a legna!
In futuro vorremmo usare 5 pecore per tagliare l'erba al posto del trattore. Al momento stiamo usando prima il trattore seguito dalle mie galline.
Cerchiamo qualcuno che abbia voglia di vivere una vita semplice, di crescere interiormente e di creare un legame con la natura con l'obiettivo di rendere questo pezzo di terra un piccolo paradiso :)

I launched into the world of regenerative agriculture 8 years ago, since then I expanded my knowledge a lot but I am open to learning more and sharing my experience with you.
Regenerative agriculture is an agricultural system that aims to conserve and restore farmland and its ecosystem. It aims to maintain, improve and restore what has been degraded in the past and to live in a more sustainable way. Also I have a University degree in Animal Protection and Welfare
We like to be very kind, fair and honest people and we look for the same.
We would like to receive the volunteer as a family member!

° the farmhouse has been recently renovated and is comfortable and functional
° you will have a big room, hot water and wi-fi
° best if you bring your own sleeping bag!
° we usually eat all together, but sometimes you will cook and eat on your own
° we offer vegetarian / vegan ingredients from our garden, trying to avoid industrial food but we are open to meat eater
° in addition to our own production, we buy fruit and vegetables from organic farmers nearby

Loreto Aprutino is a nice historical little town only 20 minutes far from Abruzzo mountains and Adriatic sea. I can tell you how to get to beautiful places around or we could go by car together during free time :)
