  Description

  Hello and welcome!
  I’m Letizia, and I live in the beautiful land of Salento, Puglia, where I’m passionate about creating community projects rooted in nature and sustainability.
  I work mainly in environmental sciences, focusing on natural agriculture, creative recycling, and self-sufficiency. Right now, I’m developing a community eco-project aimed at creating a green space for planting trees, growing vegetables, and nurturing a family garden right outside my home.
  
  I live with my dog, Sakamy, just a few steps from my family, surrounded by nature and close to the sea. I love spending time with people as much as I cherish my personal space. My passions include juggling, karate, art, travel, and learning from different cultures — experiences I gathered through European projects like Erasmus and Youth Exchanges.
  
  As a host, I open my home to those who want to join me in this journey — helping with gardening, house management, creative recycling, cooking, and sharing life moments in a warm, welcoming environment. Together, we’ll work mainly on weekdays in the mornings, leaving afternoons and weekends free for rest or exploration.
  
  You’ll stay in my apartment with shared kitchen, bathroom, and a cozy terrace where we often share meals and good conversations.
  
  I’m sure you’ll fall in love with this land — its sea, food, and traditions — just as I have. Looking forward to meeting you!

  Echange culturel et opportunités d'apprendre

  Salento is a land rich in culture, good food and beautiful situations. If you know where to go there are many options for cultural events, fairs, festivals, markets, nature trails, workshops and guided tours, overmore in summer. My land is very welcoming and warm. I care about showing and teaching everything that is typical and I would like there to be an exchange, therefore learning everything about the other culture. In addition to a cultural exchange, I also hope for an exchange of personal skills and abilities.

  Aide

  In the eco-project I have in mind there will be various activities to include:
  
  • Creation of a small family garden: maintenance and arrangement of the land, planting vegetables, reforestation, picking fruits, composting and so on
  chores, including my parents' house.
  • Cooking and food preparing
  • Creative recycling
  • Maintenance of the order of the common spaces and various household
  
  Activities depending on competencies and experiences:
  
  • Content creating to attract people to the project and and raise awareness on sustainability
  • Photography and video-making
  • Painting
  
  Since I have a degree in environmental sciences, it will certainly be an opportunity to delve into environmental issues, in particular natural agriculture. In addition, I carry out a craft activity based on the recycling of materials, including wood, seeds, and clothes. I like to give new life to objects and deal with recovery and creation. So also in this area there will be an opportunity to exchange ideas and new skills.

  Hébergement

  I live in a house with two floors where there are two apartments fully equipped with bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. I live in the first floor apartments and the accommodation for the voulteers is the same. The ground floor is for B&B host.
  I really like cooking and preparing things, I have been vegetarian for 5 years and I offer equally vegetarian meals. Surely there will be an opportunity to taste typical dishes from Salento and beyond.

  I live in Sannicola, a small and calm town near the sea (about 5 km by car), where there is a beautiful coutryside.
  Here in Salento there is so much to do and see, but you have to move around. I have a car that I cannot put at your complete disposal, but there will be moments of free time in which you can go around and see new places. You can move around with public transport, but it is not the best of options. I am a very active person and I like to be on the move and staying with other, but also to relax and enjoy moments with myself. There are no particular rules in the house, the important thing is to be respectful of people and objects, take care of the spaces and have good communication.

  Nella casa ci sono spazi tranquilli dove poter mettersi a lavorare al computer senza essere disturbati. La casa è dotata di Wi-fi. Le ore di lavoro durante la giornata possono variare in base agli impegni di entrambi.

  Espace pour garer des vans

  Non dispongo di un'area apposita privata dove poter sostare con camper o autocaravan, ma sotto casa c'è uno spazio per parcheggiare un camper. Non posso fornire attacco alla corrente nel mezzo, ma c'è la possibilità di usufruire dei servizi all'interno della mia casa, tra cui bagno cucina e corrente. Nel mio piano futuro sto progettandp un'area camping per ospitare un camper e delle tende.

  Possibilité d'accueillir les animaux

  Sono ben accetti tutti i tipi di animali, avendo diverse aree verdi e avendo a disposizione un parco a pochi passi da casa. Bisogna tenere in conto che io possiedo un cane, che va d'accordo con gli altri animali.

  Sakamy is a sweet medium size dog. She is a bit diffident with strangers in a first moment, but then she will be with you.
