  Welcome to Our Family in Bandırma, Türkiye
  
  We are a friendly family of four living by the Sea of Marmara. I (Tansel) work as an engineer for the municipality, my wife is the heart of our home and an amazing cook, and we have two daughters — aged 13 and 5 — who bring lots of energy and joy.
  
  We’d love to host Workawayers who can spend 2–3 hours a day with our children, helping them improve their English through play, conversation, and fun activities.
  
  Bandırma is a lively coastal city with beautiful nature, local markets, and easy access to Istanbul. You’ll experience true Turkish hospitality, share delicious home-cooked meals, and have time to explore our vibrant region.

  We believe in making our home a place where you feel like part of the family. We'd love to share our evenings with you, perhaps cooking and enjoying meals together, where you can learn about traditional Turkish cuisine from my wife, who is an excellent cook. We often take weekend trips to explore the beautiful nature around our city, and you'd be welcome to join us. We could also visit local markets and community events, giving you a real taste of local life and culture.

  Aide

  What You’ll Be Doing
  Your main role will be spending 2–3 hours a day with our two daughters (ages 12 and 4), helping them practice and improve their English through games, stories, crafts, and conversation. No formal teaching experience needed — just patience, creativity, and a friendly attitude.
  
  Working Together & Sharing Skills
  We enjoy doing activities as a family — cooking, gardening, visiting local markets, or exploring nearby sights. You’re welcome to join in and share your own skills, whether it’s cooking dishes from your country, teaching a hobby, or helping us learn something new.
  
  What We Offer
