  Description

  We are a young family of 3, mum (Jackie 31) dad (Vasilis or Will 31), and our son George Marcus (3.5). We run a scuba diving centre in the summer, and have other online jobs in the winter. Because of this we are very busy and need some help babysitting or adorable son. We are also expecting a second child in July.
  
  Looking for someone to mainly look after marcus in our own house, he starts school in september so also taking him to school and picking him up.
  
  Of course food is provided while you are with us and you will also be provided some petty cash to take him out to the beach occasionally or on park trips. We are a bi lingual household with English and Greek speakers, language and cultural exchange is a pro, and it is also possible for you do some diving during the summer months.

  As stated we are a bilingual family with native English and native Greek language if you wanted to learn either we could help. We would also love for you to come diving with us in the summer if that is something your interested in! Days off you could explore the beautiful island we live on, with so much historical value, long hikes and gorgeous beaches it is hard not to fall in love with Symi. People usually love to rent a scooter and explore the mountainous views from above. Also I have to mention sunsets are spectacular.

  Aide

  We would like anyone who is looking after Marcus to focus on him, he enjoys playing at the park, colouring, dancing and reading books. The other additional jobs that would be requested is to serve him breakfast, lunch and snacks, and light house work appreciated. A little help with the baby might be needed occasionly so mum can spend a bit of time with Marcus. Light Housework is appreciated, because we have our hands full.

  Languages are so important, I speak fluent English and basic greek. And my husband is fluent English and fluent greek. My son is learning both but has a clear preference for English, so encouraging him to learn Greek is a plus.

  Hébergement

  Accommodation is an attack room in our small apartment. The bedroom you would have is private, but directly above Marcus's bedroom. (You have to go through Marcus's bedroom to get to it via a small set of steps.

  Transport around the island is a little tricky, there are lots of hills and steps however there is a bus that runs hourly in the summer and a few times a day in the winter and only cost 2 euros, renting a scooter is a popular fun adventure, and we have a van for the scuba divers, so you can always hop in with us for a lift if the timing suits. The play park is only 5 minute walk away from our house, and we like Marcus to go on a trip there to burn some energy each day if possible, if not the park then the beach is a great one. And as I stated before if you have never tried scuba diving, come try it with us, you will fall in love, and if you are already certified you will be amazed by some of our beautiful sites, wrecks, caves and beautiful amphora dives, you will be welcome to join us on trips when your free.
