I am a mother with one 17 year old half Italian daughter, I have run two charities in my life and live with my daughter and two lodgers in Brixton. It is a large musical home with 5 bedrooms and a large kitchen and sitting room and a second large sitting room. We have two pianos and a guitare.
I host monthly musical soirees and craft workshops and also curate art and design exhibitions. I would like someone who can teach my daughter Italian and to help around the house or do some practical tasks.
You will meet a lot of nice people as we are a very friendly household, I have two wonderful lodgers, one is a musician and the other an artist.

We are used to having au-pairs so can help if you are hoping to improve your English.
We recently lived with my parents and had an Italian au-pair living with us and an English Jazz singer who lodged with us so we are used to a fun household with a lot of music being played by my mother, daughter and lodger!
I am looking for an Italian workaway who will help around the house/babysitting my daughter/doing DIY in the house or some gardening. it would be good to have carpentry/DIY skills. Good enough to put up shelves and a garden fence or lay skirting boards. Or you would help with putting on some events/exhibitions/ music nights in the gallery space. Our house backs onto the gallery.
If you are good at organising and could help with me putting on a design exhibition that is something else I plan to do in the shop.
I need an Italian who will speak Italian to my daughter. We are both very good at helping those living with us to practice their English so you would improve your English too.

It is a 5 bedroom house; you would have your own room and share a bathroom, eating with us etc and generally joining in with everything (if you wish!).
Hours of help are flexible but either during the daytime or some babysitting in the evening. We are a friendly family and often have friends or friends-of-friends staying.
Very much want people to feel at home and so like visitorsto help themselves. Lots of Italian cooking as my daughter is half Italian and we have lived with Italian au-pairs when she was younger.
Time - off: i hope you would explore London as much as possible! We are used to telling people where to go. Our local tube Stockwell which is about 15 mins walk.
