  Description

  I'm a mother of 4 kids at the age between 4 and 13 years. We live ecologically and vegetarian / vegan. There are about 50 animals. The animals (mainly from animal shelter) are kept humanely and have their use in animal-assisted area for seniors, people with disabilities and children. The farm and its offerings is still under construction, but there is always plenty to do in animal care and around the yard and in the house, there is much to doing new and beautiful. Because our house is old and we lived there since July 2015.
  
  Ich bin eine Mutter von 4 Kindern zwischen 4 und 13 Jahren. Wir leben ökologisch sowie vegetarisch/vegan. Zu uns gehören noch ca. 50 Tiere. Die Tiere (hauptsächlich aus dem Tierschutz) werden artgerecht gehalten und haben ihren Einsatz im tiergestützten Bereich für Senioren, Menschen mit Behinderung und Kinder. Der Hof und seine Angebote ist erst im Aufbau, aber es gibt immer genug zu tun in der Tierversorgung, Tierbetreuung und rund um den Hof sowie im Haus, was sehr renovierungsbedürftig ist. Auf unserem Hof leben wir erst seit Juli 2015 und er ist sehr alt.

  Aide

  Responsibilities: animal care such as feeding and craps, pasture maintenance,
  Training / employment of the animals, help with the food preparation / kitchen and household and child care. Firewood, help with construction tasks at the house and the stables. A sign to the courtyard, which would be designed and a showcase, which could be re-stocked. About music lessons for the children, we also welcome!
  Assistance in animal-assisted activitys as well as hikes with llamas and donkeys if there are orders in time of stay.
  The house need much work to make it beautiful and new. We are happy about handwork help.
  
  Aufgabenbereiche: Tierversorgung wie füttern und misten, Weidepflege, Zäune richten und stellen. Spazieren gehen mit den Hunden, Pferden, Lamas, Esel... Training/Beschäftigung der Tiere, Mithilfe bei der Essenzubereitung/Küche und im Haushalt sowie Kinderbetreuung. Brennholzgewinnung, Hilfe bei Baumaßnahmen (Lehmarbeiten) am Haus und bei den Ställen. Gartenarbeit. Über Musik-Unterricht für die Kinder freuen wir uns auch!
  Begleitung bei tiergestützten Aktivitäten sowie bei Wanderungen mit den Lamas und den Eseln falls es Aufträge in der Zeit des Aufenthalts gibt.
  Das Haus ist sehr renovierungsbedürftig. Sind seit April 2015 im Wendland. Freuen uns sehr über handwerkliche Hilfe, es gibt sehr viel zu tun.

  We welcome families, but we can´t give all food. Because we are not rich. ;)
  
  Arrivals: Airport Hamburg or Hannover, by train (Station Uelzen) an then by bus to Küsen (1 km far from our village)
  
  We welcome people who like to sit around the campfire in the evening and we can possibly play together. Please bring your musical instruments. We have only drums and rattles and a kids gitarre. :)
  
  
  Wir heißen Familien Willkommen, aber können nicht alle mit Essen versorgen! Familien sollten sich bitte finanziell an den Essenskosten beteiligen.
  
  
  Anreisemöglichkeit: Flughafen Hamburg oder Hannover. Mit dem Zug (Station Uelzen) Bus von Uelzen nach Küsten, 2 km von unserem Dorf entfernt.
  
  
  Wir freuen uns über Menschen, die gerne mal Abends am Lagerfeuer sitzen und wir evtl. gemeinsam musizieren können. Bitte bringt eure Musikinstrumente mit. Wir haben nur Trommeln und Rasseln und eine Kindergitarre, aber müssen noch das spielen lernen. :)
  
  
  The “wendland” is quite famous for its peculiarity. Many people (artist, artisans, craftspeople, families with alternative lifestyle) moved here to support the anti-nuclear-movement since the 1980´s. We think it´s a very interesting area with many cultural activities and a keen sense of community.
