Description
We are a family living in Bologna: me, my daughter, 23, my son, 21. and my mother, 95.
Our house is in the country, 5 minutes walking from the bus stop, 15 minutes by bus from the center of the town. The bus stops in the evening at 7 pm, later you need for a taxi or a lift.

Bologna is a beautiful and historical town. Here there is the oldest university in the world. It's the best italian town to stay if you want to visit Italy: 1 hour by train from Venice, Florence, Verona, Mantova, Ravenna, 2 hours from Siena, Pisa, and 2,5 hours from Perugia and Rome with a fast train.
Many volunteers, boys and girls, young or aged, from all around the world stayed here, and we always had good experiences.
You need some experience working in the garden.

Ophelia is a fantastic girl! Polite, clean, responsable. She helped me in the garden and she worked very well. She is a very autonomous person and she organized her travels without needing any help. She has many interests and I was happy to share some moments with my friends and her. She will always be welcome!

I spent two weeks with Silvia and her family and I had a wonderful time. Her house is beautiful and located in the hillside outside of Bologna. I had plenty of free time to explore the city during the day, but the last bus home is at 7pm so you must plan accordingly. My experience with Silvia was wonderful. I felt like part of the family from the moment I walked in their door.The work part of the Workaway is minimal - only feeding the dog - which leaves you with plenty of time and freedom to explore Bologna and Emilia-Romagna. Silvia tem uma boa comunicação. O quarto era bem grande e confortável. Ficamos 4 dias nosso trabalho foi pintar as escadas. A cidade é linda e a Silvia nós deixou bem a vontade.

Matilde is a quiet, lovely host! She is always ready to help, to talk and she was a good presence in our family. My daughter remembers her as a friend, and she learnt some spanish.
The time to spent together wasn't so long, but it was good and she is always welcome in our house.

When Lynn stayed with us, we hadn't a lot of time to stay with her. School, work... But she's very indipendent, and a good company. She is SUPER in cleaning and you can have godd conversations with her. She's very organized too, and funny.
