Description
Looking for help in 2025!
We live on one busy acre in a rural area on Vancouver Island nestled between Chemainus and Ladysmith. An hour from Victoria and two hour boat ride to Vancouver. Three minute walk to the ocean.
Chase is a custom home builder and talented carpenter Lisa stays home with their three children (2012, 2018, 2021).
We built our home in 2021 and have many things to finish. The yard needs a lot of care. In the spring we would like to plant a small orchard, and will need some help with gardening. Beekeeping help moving and breeding honey bees in April/May and help with extracting honey in September. Lots of wood to stack up into piles, and weeds to pull around the property.
We eat meat but are flexible.
Our children play sports like ice hockey, so you may be able to join us for a game or try it yourself. Lisa enjoys baking and cooking, and could use some help with meal prep.
We would like to host to other families with children, to expose our children to other cultures. We have a zero tolerance policy on drug use.

We love to learn about new cultures, food and places.
We are located 3 minute walk to the beach and other hiking areas.
We have fishing and whale watching, vineyards, Victoria and Vancouver are accessible major cities nearby.

Hébergement
We have a brand new two bedroom suite with one bathroom with outdoor seating, used as air bnb in the off season.
We will share meals together a few nights per week and provide food for cooking in your private kitchen other days.
The accommodation sleeps 5 (two queen beds and a sofa)
