Hello!
I live in beautiful Glencar, County Kerry, with my two young children aged 5 and 6. We live in a rural area surrounded by mountains, lakes, and some of Ireland's most spectacular scenery.
I am looking for a friendly, practical, and reliable person who would enjoy helping me with a few projects around my home. The main tasks include garden maintenance, painting, hanging shelves, and general DIY tasks. There may also be some outdoor help such as tidying garden areas, light landscaping, and helping keep things organised.
I am not looking for professional tradespeople, just someone who enjoys practical work and is happy to lend a hand. If you have experience with DIY, gardening, decorating, or maintenance, that would be a big bonus.
In return, I can offer comfortable accommodation, meals, and the opportunity to experience life in rural Ireland. There is plenty of free time to explore the Kerry Way, nearby beaches, mountains, Killarney National Park, and all the beauty that County Kerry has to offer. -

We are situated at the base of the Carrauntoohill Ireland's highest mountain and in the Reeks district which was recently voted by rough guide as 1 of 19th best places to visit in 2019. It is ideally suited to the outdoor enthusiast.

We are situated just 40 minutes drive from Killarney and 20 minutes from Killorglin and the famous Ring of Kerry. We are also 20 minutes drive from the ocean.
We can also arrange adventure tours for you including kayaking on the lakes, surfing at inch beach, the ring of kerry, tour of Dingle peninsula climb the highest mountain in Ireland and much much more. You can also explore the world famous Ross castle, muckross house and Killarney House. It's a small area and you will get to know the locals very quickly and in the evening you can enjoy a drink with the locals and get to experience Irish hospitality at it's best. -
