  Description

  Hi guys
  We are looking for 2 helpers (can be a couple or just mates travelling together who are happy to share a queen bed) to help us out with a bit of reno work in one of our cottages. Ideally you would be able to stay for 10 days up to 2 weeks from around the 4th or 5th of August.
  Ideally some experience with painting is appreciated.
  We would expect help around the house such as minor cleaning/washing, help at meal times and sharing the cooking some days please.
  In exchange for your help you will have your room with a seaview and good food with meat and some veggies from the farm, also on your free time our coastal farm to explore. The ideal workawayers would have to be nature lovers, keen explorers, and keen helpers, who don't mind remote areas. If you have your own vehicle that is a plus too, minimum stay of 2 weeks and maximum of 4 please. We are a happy little family of 4 and we live next door to the grandparents who are also lovely people to have around.

  We are Zander and Andrea. I Andrea am from Brazil and Zander (my husband) from New Zealand and we live on Zander's family farm. We met in Australia while working in an island resort and since then have traveled to Asia, South America and Europe.
  
  The farm is located on the west coast of Golden Bay, in a unique and remote location 3 hours drive from Nelson and 1 hour drive from Collingwood, the last 40 minutes is on a gravel road.
  
  The farm is 1000 acres with 4 kms of coastal frontage. There are endless opportunities for walking and exploring with stunning views, beaches, caves, coves and rock formations. Swimming and fishing in summer is our favorite activities. In winter we enjoy evening walks to the knob to watch the sun setting into the sea.
  
  Zander's parents Ken & Sandra farm the land with sheep and cattle.

  We manage a tourism operation on a unique coastal environment on the west coast of Golden Bay, New Zealand.
  
  The kind of help we require from our helpers are within the family household:
  - Fire wood chopping
  - Gardening
  - House duties (which can involve some cleaning)
  - Building/maintenance
  - Farm activities
  - Landscaping
  - Help with cooking/preparing meals
  - Some help watching, playing or reading a book to our daughter

  It is easier if you have your own vehicle so you can be free on your days off to explore the region. However if you don't have your own vehicle we can arrange for you to come out our way on the mail van on certain days of the week.
