  Description

  Matt and I ( Barbara) have a 5 acre property, which we mainly use to house our rescue animals. Matt is born and bred in this area while I am originally German and came to Australia via Ireland, USA and France. This is our home now and we are constantly looking to improve it.

  Workawayers in our place can enjoy the rural lifestyle while being close to town. Being born here Matt knows all the amazing places for fishing, hiking and swimming. I spent extensive time living in other countries and speak three languages. Both of us have seen a lot of the world and like to exchange our experiences.

  Aide

  As we are both very busy with work, we would mainly need someone as a companion for the animals. Roxy is a very active 18 months Amstaff X who would need to be walked every day between Monday to Friday. Apart from that there is minor gardening, cleaning of chook and goat pens, and providing cuddles to 2 cats. No work or animal care is required on weekends and evenings.

  A car is absolutely necessary as there is no public transport. This area has beautiful bush walks, many empty beaches, and river and creeks to swim in. Coffs harbour is only a 10 minute drive. As the work is minimal (approximately 10 hours/week) and we are extremely busy, we won't provide any food except eggs and what we are growing ourselves.

  Roxy (1 an)

  Roxy is a very loving, boisterous but well behaved Amstaff X. She loves human companionship whether it is exercising or just hanging out. Well trained and easy to walk.
