Description
Please pay attention: even if our place looks nice and not too wild, it requires still a lot of restoration and also we are in the middle of a forest that is growing all the time. So please don't apply if you are not willing to do some gardening (like cutting whole trees and big bushes), helping with cement, digging in hard soil, etc.
Welcome from Bea and Álvaro! We're a Hungarian-Spanish couple living in the south of Spain, in a rural house on the very edge of Doñana National Park, just 3 km away from the town of Hinojos.
This area is famous for its national park and many culturally interesting places, such as El Rocío and many others.
We decided to move to the countryside to escape city life. We own a pretty large piece of land with many pine trees, fruit trees, and plenty of things to keep us busy.
We also enjoy crafting, gardening, and cooking in an outdoor kitchen when we have time for it. Essentially, we're trying to find a balance between working on the house, improving our place, and engaging in our hobbies.
Even though we live in the middle of the forest, we've found a way to have all the comforts of the modern world, including good internet. If you stay with us, you'd have your own little independent house on our land, so you can enjoy your privacy!
We also have a very active border collie named Zorro, so if you plan to visit, loving dogs is a must!
We don't have any large projects, but the house has an endless amount of small tasks to tackle: gardening, fixing things, small woodworking, painting, etc.
Sometimes, on weekends, we go to the city of Sevilla, and we wouldn’t mind at all taking you with us so you can explore on your own! You can also walk or bike to nearby towns or use public transport to get around.
We speak Spanish, English, and Hungarian (we also speak a bit of Japanese and Esperanto, but we'll be a bit rusty at the beginning!).
Also we work in standard full time, so even if we love sharing our hobbies we are busy people with secondary jobs over our main one, so we don't have too much spare time to socialize.
We will try to comfort you as much as we can, we want you to feel good here. But we need you to be independent and enjoy your time on your own when we are busy.
Looking forward to hearing from you.Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

Firstly, both of us are (or were) language teachers, so if you're interested in practicing the languages, we would be happy to help.
This area is close to many culturally interesting places, such as the town of El Rocío, Palos de la Frontera, and the cities of Sevilla and Huelva.
We also have an online channel about historical Spanish cuisine. Since I'll be cooking for the channel while you're here, you can always enjoy watching the process (and tasting the results afterward!).
Additionally, we're big enthusiasts of board games, 80’s and 90’s movies, and geek culture in general. Some of our hobbies include crafting, blacksmithing, pyrography, macramé, and crochet. If you share these interests, that’s a big plus!Projets impliquant des enfants

Aide
We would appreciate your help in tidying up our land. We are in the middle of a forest, so plants are always growing and getting out of control, we need a lot of help with those. It would also be beneficial if you have basic knowledge of small construction tasks and repairs, such as nailing planks of wood, replacing fallen bricks with cement, and painting. In general, we're looking for someone who is a bit handy, though nothing as complicated as electrical work or plumbing is required. The most ambitious project we have planned is building a chicken pen and reparing a forge that has been abandoned for some years. Additionally, the house is surrounded by a lot of plants, so some experience with gardening would be very welcome.

I'd gladly speak any of the languages we know with anyone who wants to practice it.Hébergement
You would be in an independent small house inside of our land. The house is equiped with a big bed, TV, internet, bathroom and a small kitchen with a fridge so you'd be totally independent in your free time. I will provide all the necessary ingredients for you to prepare your own breakfasts and dinners but also cook you a warm, homemade lunch every day.
Autres infos...
In your free time you can just enjoy the house (We have a swimming pool, unlimited internet, lots of board games, a playful dog, practice languages and you can join us in our hobbies.
If you want to leave the house, we are literally in the border of Doñana National Park, so if you like hiking you have endless routes you can take from here. Also we can lend you a bike if you prefer it.
You can also do some tourism, there is the town of Hinojos nearby where you can go by public transport to Sevilla, Huelva and many other places. On weekends sometimes we go to the city of Sevilla, so you can come with us and do some tourism by yourself.Informations complémentaires

We have good and fast internet connection with starlink system. Also we have a backup electricity generator in case there's any kind of power blackout we can still work. The only possible issue is when there's extremely bad weather, something that doesn't happen often.
