  Description

  We are a young surf house that opened its doors in October last year. Since then, we’ve had the pleasure of hosting guests who’ve enjoyed their time here and left with great memories.
  
  Located in the calm mountains of Tamraght, our surf house offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, with stunning views of the Atlantic. Tamraght is a quiet village where you can experience a blend of Moroccan charm and surf culture. The 20-minute walk to the beach adds to the relaxed and authentic vibe of the area.
  
  We also care for rescue dogs and are hoping to find loving homes for them. If you’re an animal lover, you’re welcome to help during your stay

  We encourage language learning and exchange, whether it’s picking up a few phrases in Moroccan Arabic (Darija), practicing your French with the locals, or sharing your own native language with our team and other Workawayers.

You’ll help create a welcoming environment by interacting with them, sharing stories, and helping to organize activities like beach bonfires, music nights, and local excursions. If you have a talent (like playing an instrument or leading group games), we’d love for you to share it!
  
  • Housekeeping Check:
  To keep the surf house looking its best, you’ll help ensure common areas and guest rooms are clean and tidy. This involves light daily checks and making sure everything is in place for guests to feel comfortable and welcome.

  Our surf house provides a cozy, welcoming space designed to make you feel right at home. The house is decorated in a blend of traditional Moroccan and modern surf-inspired styles, creating a unique vibe that reflects both local culture and the relaxed energy of coastal life.
  
  • Rooms:
  We offer shared and private rooms, each thoughtfully furnished with comfortable beds, quality linens, and plenty of storage space. Each room has been styled with simplicity and warmth in mind, giving you a peaceful place to rest after a day of surf and exploration.
  
  • Common Areas:
  The heart of our house is our inviting communal lounge, where guests and team members gather to relax, chat, and share stories. We also have a spacious kitchen where you can prepare your own meals if you wish, and join in on group dinners with a local twist.
  
  • Dachterasse (Rooftop Terrace):
  Our favorite spot! The rooftop terrace offers panoramic views of the ocean and the village. It’s the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee, meditate at sunrise, or unwind in the evening with a sunset over the Atlantic. We also use this space for yoga sessions, gatherings, and occasional movie nights under the stars.
  
  • Facilities:
  The house is equipped with all essentials, including free Wi-Fi, clean bathrooms with hot showers, and a secure space to store surfboards and gear. We prioritize cleanliness and comfort, ensuring the house feels fresh and welcoming for all our guests.
  
  Our surf house is more than just a place to stay; it’s a community and a home.
  We’re dedicated to creating an environment where everyone can relax, connect, and make lasting memories in an unforgettable location. There is always breakfast, a lunchbox and dinner - volunteers can freely participate in that.
