    Description

Hola! We’re a small, multicultural hostel located in the heart of Playa del Carmen, just a few blocks from the Caribbean Sea and the famous Quinta Avenida. At our Hostel, we love creating a space where travelers from all over the world can feel at home — and where volunteers (Workawayers!) can experience daily life in Mexico while sharing their energy and learning from others. You’ll be working alongside our local team — managers, reception, cleaning, and maintenance staff — who not only keep things running smoothly but also play a key role in the cultural exchange with volunteers.

What is life like at our Hostel?
As a Workawayer, you’ll be part of a diverse, open-minded team made up of locals and international travelers. Our environment is relaxed, creative, and people-focused. We value volunteers not for “what they do,” but for what they bring — their personality, ideas, culture, and energy. Here, the focus is on exchange, collaboration, and learning. You won’t just be helping out — you’ll be part of the flow.

    Available Positions :
    - Community & Guest Experience
Help create a fun, inclusive environment by organizing social activities like beach volleyball, group dinners, language exchanges, or small wellness sessions. If you’re creative and love bringing people together, this is for you!

    - Reception Support (Cultural Exchange Focus)
Shadow and assist our local reception team while learning how hostels operate. This includes guest interaction, local recommendations, and improving your Spanish and hospitality skills .

    - Helping Hand to our cleaning team
Lend a hand keeping shared spaces welcoming and clean in collaboration with our housekeeping team. This is also a great way to practice Spanish.

What you’ll gain from this experience:
    - Cultural immersion: Live and collaborate with locals and travelers from around the world
    - Language exchange: Practice Spanish and help others learn your language
    - New skills: Learn hostel dynamics, teamwork, leadership and cultural sensitivity
    - Freedom to contribute: Bring your unique talents and be part of something meaningful
    - Time to explore: Visit beaches, cenotes, ruins, and soak in the Riviera Maya lifestyle

    What we offer:
    - Shared staff/volunteer accommodation
    - Basic breakfast (fruit, toast, coffee)
    - Access to kitchen, Wi-Fi, and rooftop terrace
    - A safe, welcoming, and inspiring environment to grow
    - Plenty of time off to enjoy Playa del Carmen and nearby areas

We’re looking for people who are not just passing through, but ready to connect, share, and contribute with heart. If that’s you — we’d love to hear from you.
