  Description

  I live in a spacious former children's school in beautiful rural Westerwolde, in the north of the Netherlands, together with my dog, an active German Shepherd. I'm particularly looking for someone who is experienced and confident with large, active dogs and who would enjoy building a genuine bond with her. Because I occasionally need to travel for work, it would be great to find someone I can trust to stay at the house and look after her while I'm away.
  
  Ideally, I'm looking for someone who might return from time to time, so that there can be some continuity and, most importantly, a familiar and trusted person for my dog. Besides dog care, there are always things to do around the house and in the large garden. What you help with can depend on your interests and skills.
  
  The house is in a peaceful countryside setting with plenty of space and nature around. It's a good match for someone who enjoys dogs, independence and rural life.
  
  Please note: There is no B&B or other accommodation business at the property. The help I am looking for is entirely private and non-commercial.

  Aide

  The main thing I'm looking for is help with my German Shepherd. She is an active dog, so experience with large and energetic dogs is important. This includes spending time with her, walking her and, once we know and trust each other, occasionally looking after her independently when I need to travel for work. There is also plenty of scope to help with practical things around the house and garden. The exact activities can depend on your interests, experience and skills.
