Hello Workawayers!
My name is Natalie and we have a family-run camping near the town of Gandia in the Valencian region of Spain.
We’re seeking a compassionate individual who loves children and is excited to help our son, Marcos, improve his English skills. Marcos is 10 years old and attends a British school, so he has a great foundation but needs someone to practice speaking with him regularly and help him with his homework.
We live and work on the premises, so this is a unique opportunity for someone looking to stay with us starting in September. If you have a passion for teaching and want to make a positive impact on Marcos's language journey, we’d love to hear from you!
Salary is minimum wage paid per hour worked and we offer free accommodation (the type of accomodation available to our guests from Workaway will depend on the time of year (low and high seasons), you will either have your own accomodation with kitchen and bathroom, or else you will be in a shared accomodation with a private room for yourself and would share the kitchen and bathroom).
Please note that it is important that you have the NIE (Número de Identificación de Extranjero) in order to work with us legally.

Depending on the period: we would ask for help with looking after my son Marcos for 2 or 3 hours per day and helping him with his English skills. I'm flexible with the hours for Marcos, since it depends when he sleeps or when I work.

We have a comfortable accomodation available (with kitchen and bathroom) where you would live alone.

We live in Xeraco beach, 5 minutes by car from the train station (3km). Xeraco beach is a small coastal town, very lively in the summer season, where you can enjoy restaurants, beach bars and above all one of the best beaches in the Valencian Community.
Our campsite has direct access to the beach! :)
Xeraco also has a mountain, the Montduber, where you can go hiking all year round.

Robin is a very nice guy and got on very well with Ivan. After studying hard with Ivan they also played for an hour and they had a lot of fun together. He was especially good in helping Ivan with the chemistry. Robin was always very helpful and flexible. We hope Robin will visit us again some time.
