  Hello everybody,
  
  ARtiSts, CarPenTerS and MuSiciAns especially welcome :)
  
  we are a family with two kids ( 9 & 7 years old) living in the north of La Palma on an altitude of 1100 meters.
  In 2020 we found our beautiful old finca which we started to reactivate, rebuild and plant in order to create a lovely home and a sustainable ecosystem within a food forest.
  
  The past 5 years we have been planting a lot and started setting up an infrastructure including a little stone house, a house made of red bricks and lime, a photovoltaic system, worm farms, a plant nursery, a tool shed, 3 chicken houses, a play ground and a lovely space for our volunteers.
  Around 20 chickens and five goats are part of the family and also help us producing goods for our compost production.
  
  We are looking for motivated and positive volunteers who wanna help us bringing this former old and abandoned farm back to life, so that one day it will feed all the plants, animals and people living on it.
  
  If you are interested in learning about how to create a healthy and self sufficient home, we are happy to welcome you. (We are not selling any of our produce on markets or to shops, all the harvest we have, we consume ourselves.)

  Hola a todos,
  
  somos una familia con dos niños (9 y 7 años) que viven en el norte de La Palma en una altitud de 1100 metros.
  En 2020 encontramos nuestra hermosa finca antigua que empezamos a reactivar, reconstruir y plantar con el fin de crear un hogar encantador de nuevo y un ecosistema sostenible dentro de un gran bosque comestible.
  
  En los últimos 5 años hemos plantado mucho y hemos empezado a crear una infraestructura que incluye una casita hecha de piedras y cal, una casa hecha de ladrillos rojos y cal, un sistema fotovoltaico, granjas de lombrices, un vivero de plantas, un cobertizo para herramientas, 3 gallineros, un parque infantil y un espacio precioso para nuestros voluntarios.
  Alrededor de 20 gallinas y gallos y cinco cabras forman parte de la familia y también nos ayudan a producir materiales para nuestra producción de compost.
  
  Buscamos voluntarios motivados y positivos que quieran ayudarnos a devolver la vida a esta hermoso lugar.

  We used to have a farm for 7 years on the mainland of Europe which we renovated and rebuild ourselves. We planted and set up the whole place using Permaculture principles. Anything we have experienced and learned in those years as well as during the past four years on La Palma we are more than happy to share with you.
  
  Tuvimos una granja durante 7 años en el continente europeo que renovamos y reconstruimos nosotros mismos. Plantamos y establecimos todo el lugar utilizando los principios de Permacultura. Todo lo que hemos experimentado y aprendido en esos años, así como durante los últimos cuatro años en La Palma estamos más que felices de compartir con vosotr@s.

  Aide

  We are looking for GARDENERS
  
  As we are still very busy with building, taking care of our animals and the trees and bushes, that we planted, we would very much appreciate to have a person living with us, that likes to grow annual vegetables. It takes a lot of time and feeling to have them growing here, so if you happen to have experience and it makes you happy running a garden, that feeds us, please get in touch with us.
  
  ARTISTS/MUSICIANS
  
  This place also is a place of ART, a place where art is not only welcome, but part of life.
  If you are interested in leaving a mark of your art on our walls, in our forest, where ever you see it happening, please get in touch with us, we'd appreciate it.
  Do you play the drums? Would you like to share your passion for playing the drums with our children and teach them?
  
  CHILDCARE
  
  We are looking for a person or a family, that likes to do handicrafts like knitting, weaving, crocheting, knotting, pottery and all kinds of upcycling and DIY projects with our two sons. Preferably your mother tongue is English, Spanish or French.
  
  HOUSESITTERS
  
  If somebody can imagine to stay with us for longer and during this time also do some housesitting, we would be interested to get in touch with you. The housesitting would include garden work like watering and weeding, it would as well include to take care of our goats while we are gone. You should be used to living in a remote place and have some basic skills and understanding when it comes to live on and care for a farm.
  We would expect you to stay with us for two months before we leave in December 2025 for around three months.
  Families are as well welcome to do housesitting in our home.

  Buscamos ARTISTAS, que dejen su huella en las paredes de nuestra nueva casa de 50 metros cuadrados.
  Dibujos, pinturas, tadelakt, trabajos en madera... ¡damos la bienvenida a tu arte y te invitamos a dar más alma a la nueva casa.
  ¿Tocas la batería? ¿Te gustaría compartir tu pasión por tocar la batería con nuestros niños y enseñarles?
  
  Buscamos JARDINEROS
  
  Como todavía estamos muy ocupados con la construcción, el cuidado de nuestros animales y de los árboles y arbustos, que plantamos, nos gustaría mucho tener una persona que vive con nosotros, que le gusta cultivar hortalizas anuales. Lleva mucho tiempo y sentimiento tenerlas creciendo aquí, así que si tienes experiencia y te hace feliz dirigir un huerto, que nos alimenta, por favor ponte en contacto con nosotros.
  
  CUIDADO DE NIÑOS
  
  Estamos buscando una persona o una familia, que le gusta hacer manualidades como tejer, ganchillo, nudos, cerámica y todo tipo de upcycling y DIY con nuestros hijos.
  
  HOUSESITTERS
  
  Si alguien puede imaginar quedarse con nosotr@s por más tiempo y durante este tiempo también hacer algunas casas de servicio, estaríamos interesados en ponerse en contacto contigo/con vosotr@s. El cuidado de la casa incluiría el trabajo de jardinería como el riego y deshierbe, también incluiría el cuidado de nuestras cabras mientras estamos fuera. Tu debes estar acostumbrado a vivir en un lugar remoto y tienen algunas habilidades básicas y la comprensión cuando se trata de vivir y cuidar de una granja.
  Esperamos que te quedes con nosotr@s dos meses antes de que nos vayamos en diciembre de 2025.

  Hébergement

  For accommodation we can offer one of our two spacious cotton woven tents with beds inside, an outdoor kitchen, a compost toilet and a simple garden shower surrounded by old chestnut and walnut trees.
  Also we can offer a small home with private bath room and kitchen for long term stays.

  Para el alojamiento podemos ofrecer una de nuestras dos amplias tiendas tejidas en algodón con camas en el interior, una cocina exterior, un baño secco y una ducha en el jardín rodeada de viejos castaños y nogales.
  Tambien podemos ofrecer un small home para long term stays.
