  Description

  My name is Paul, I’m 47 years old, married, and we have four grown-up children who no longer live with us. I am an electronics engineer by profession, and for the past few years, we’ve been working on a personal ecological project on a property we own in the hilly-mountainous area of Vrancea County, in a beautiful natural setting.
  
  This property, which we purchased in 2016, is our retreat and a place to reconnect with nature. Our goal is to rely as much as possible on our own resources: we generate our own electricity, use water from local sources, and strive to provide our food from our garden or other sustainable local sources, avoiding processed foods.
  
  There are two small houses on the property, connected to each other: one we built in 2019 and the other was already there when we bought the property. In total, there are four rooms with double beds and a kitchen where we prepare healthy meals from local ingredients.
  
  In addition to gardening, we are also involved in beekeeping, with 15 beehives that we’ve prepared for winter. Around the property, we’re constantly working on small projects such as assembling frames for the hives, cleaning empty hives, melting beeswax, creating enclosures, or building small eco-friendly structures using wood, stone, or other natural materials.
  
  We also have four dogs – two Lagotto Romagnolo and two Labradors – who are part of our family and bring us great joy.
  
  We’re looking for people passionate about nature and sustainable living to help us with gardening, beekeeping, or household projects. Our project is not a business but a way of life, where we aim to live simply, closer to nature, and in harmony with the environment.

  Aide

  Together with our guests, we will take care of the maintenance of the property (fence repairs, small wooden buildings, grass mowing), orchard maintenance, garden cultivation and maintenance, medicinal plant harvesting and beehive management. We do not have large animals, only dogs and cats.

  Hébergement

  The property has 2 attached cottages, one was built by us in 2019, and the other was built when we bought it. There are a total of 4 double beds in 4 rooms. There is the possibility of cooking, we supply ourselves with food from our own production or from sustainable local sources, we avoid processed food.We offer 3 meals a day, with participation in their preparation. We have everything we need for a normal life. There is the possibility of cooking, we have our own preserved food, honey. In season we can pick fruits and mushrooms.

  The frecvented airport is approximately 200 km away, but we can discuss the transfer from the airport. In our area there are minibuses, which connect with the nearest cities.
  In the area you can go hiking in the mountains or through the forest, there is a waterfall nearby, the bed of a river that springs from a salt mountain. It is a quiet area, where in your free time you can rest or meditate. Staying here will be quiet as long as you do not endanger your own integrity or that of others or the property.
