Laissé par l'hôte pour le workawayer (Baptiste)
We are going to miss Baptiste hugely. From the very outset he entered into the spirit of this house with enthusiasm Nothing was too much trouble. He did everything from mowing to painting, looking after hens, dogs, puppies and us! He relaxed with us, chatted with us, cooked with us. It was a pleasure to see him in the morning and discuss the day's

Laissé par l'hôte pour le workawayer (Clara & Marco)
We really loved having Clara and Marco staying with us. There was so much to do while they were here: from scarrifing and raking a very large lawn to preparing and painting a very large drawing room. They both entered into the spirit of this house and got on really well with our French workawayer. I would not hesitate to recommend them to any

John was a really excellent workawayer. Sadly he was unable to get the right visa to stay with us as he is American. There has been a recent change in the Immigration personnel at Irish Ports. Before, the Irish Police were very accommodating but now, even volunteer work for board and lodging is seen by the civil servant immigration officials as

I spent 3 months with this family and loved every minute of it. A fantastic work away experience if you're an independent worker with initiative, looking to speak mostly English, and want to get to know an interesting couple and sons.
Work was project-centered. I cleared and weeded. I also helped with some housekeeping and organizing jobs. I

Patrick is a fantastic cook. We often shared free time in the afternoons and evenings together-- long conversations over lunch and dinner, walks with crumpet and rossie (they are the lovely dogs) and even some visit near loghcrew where Caroline works, which I quite enjoyed.
Patrick offered me to invite my parents in Easter and the last weeks I could enjoy a great experience with them. Paddy, a son of them, organized an incredible party and they let my sister stay with us. I apreciated it a lot.
I was living in the country but I met more people than the city. Caroline and Patrick made me feel like I was a part of their family. My experience was not just a work away, it was a home away.
I hope see you again,
Thanks for everything!
