Description
WE PREFER COUPLES!
This is a 21 room guest house and pub, in the town of Addo. Addo village is close to the world renowned Addo Elephant National Park.
The guest house is situated on the the Main Road of Addo and is easily accessible. The local shop and supermarket is within walking distance.
We cater for both international and local guests. The pub often fills with characters from the local community who are friendly and easly make conversation.
Owned by people who are passionate about people. We are here to make sure that each and every guest that enters our doors, leave with a memorable experience.
Please consider that our guest house is in a rural area without "bright lights", therefore we prefer couples or mature individuals. -

Addo is situated in the Eastern Cape and has a rich cultural diversity. Volunteers could learn from the local community by entering our local township. As we are an internationally known guest house, we get visitors from across the globe. There is no better way to get acquainted with all these different walks of life, than right here.
As part of your stay, we will try to accommodate you on game drive safaries and other activities, should there be space!!
Volunteers will also be able to go to local activities in their free time. -
Aide
Volunteers will be required to help around the guest house. This will include reception ,check in-out's, gardening or creativity projects, etc.
All helpers are required to make sure that our guests have a memorable stay, by always being helpful and making them feel welcome. -

We offer co-ed as well as gender based accommodation. The flats can accommodate 2 volunteers at a time.
Volunteers will have access to the guest house kitchen, other common areas in the guest house, such as the pub, TV lounge, pool and dining area.
Our accommodation is neat, safe, clean and most of all, comfortable. Our volunteers will receive breakfast and dinner daily. Bedding and towels are supplied. Other necessities could be provided upon request. -

What a cool spot! Was able to meet/hangout with locals and see amazing wildlife. "Work' wasnt hectic and volunteers were able to choose what area they wanted to work in, which we could change up.
On our days off we'd go to the park when we wernt on the owners boat tubing. Great accomidation, nice people. Recommended !

This hotel is full of awesome people right on the border of Addo Elephant National Park. This meant making some great friends and being able to see South Africa's gorgeous wildlife. We worked in the kitchen, restaurant and did a bit of outdoor painting. I loved looking after Bella, the labrador, when Colin was away. Thank you so much for having us!

Lovely place, nice staff working there. Nairess is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and Susan is a good laugh ;) The place is quite remote, so you'll want to be mobile if you don't want to go insane. Felipe worked with us for 2 months. He is hardworking and prepared to put in extra hours. He performed tasks on the farm, gardening ,general maintenance , bar duty and waitering. He developed a good repaul with the locals dispite the language challanges.
