  Description

  Hello, I'm a 53-year-old woman with two grown children who don't live at home during their studies but can return occasionally on weekends. I have two spare rooms when they're not here, and I can make one of them available to host one or two Workaway participants. I welcome exclusively Spanish speakers. The idea is to converse in Spanish, and if you're interested, I can teach French. I'm preparing for a competitive exam in Spanish and need to improve my language skills. So, if you're interested in sharing linguistic, cultural, social, and political knowledge of your language and country, I'd be delighted to have you in exchange for a few hours of conversation and helping with meals and house maintenance. You'd be available to help in the mornings from 9:00 AM to 12:00 or 1:00 PM, depending on the day's needs, and you'd have free time afterward. I offer three meals a day and accommodation. We can eat meals together, and the accommodation is a room with a double bed.

  Soy una mujer de 53 años con 2 hijos ya mayores que no viven en casa durante sus estudios pero pueden volver ocasionalmente los fines de semana. Tengo 2 habitaciones libres cuando no están y puedo dejar una de las habitaciones para recibir a 1 o 2 workawayers.
  Estoy buscando exclusivamente a hispanohablantes. La idea es conversar en español y si te interesa puedo enseñar francés. Estoy preparando una oposición en español y necesito profundizar el idioma. Así que, si te interesa compartir los conocimientos lingüísticos, culturales, sociales, políticos...de tu idioma y país, te recibo encantada a cambio de unas horas de conversación y participar en la comida y mantenimiento de la casa. Ayudas por las mañanas de 9h a 12h o 13h depende de las necesitades del día y tiempo libre después.
  Te ofrezco 3 comidas al día y el alojamiento.
  Las comidas las podemos tomar juntos y el alojamiento es una habitación con cama grande.

  The main focus of this exchange is cultural and linguistic: sharing daily life together, experiencing French cuisine and food, particularly in a rural setting, the pace of life, discovering the local gastronomy, speaking and studying French, and exploring the area—both culturally and in terms of nature. We can also organize outings and visits together from time to time if you'd like. I have free time that I can dedicate to walks, excursions, and sightseeing. I can provide assistance to help you explore the area, travel, meet other people, participate in cultural outings, and go hiking.
  
  Lo principal de este intercambio es lo cultural y lingüístico : Compartir la vida cotiadana juntos, Cómo se vive y se come en Francia, y en un entorno más bien rural, el ritmo de vida, descubrir la gastronomía, hablar y estudiar el francés, visitar y descubrir la zona : tanto al nivel cultural como de la naturaleza...
  De vez en cuando, podremos organizar salidas y visitas juntos si quieres.
  Tengo tiempo libre que puedo dedicar a algunos paseos, excursiones, visitas...
  Puedo proporcionar ayudas para facilitar el descubrimiento del entorno, los desplazamientos, el encuentro con otras personas, las salidas culturales, las excursiones por la montaña...

  Aide

  I wish to communicate with a native Spanish speaker. The help would involve conversing with me in Spanish—help to deepen my understanding of the language, the culture of the country (Spain or another Spanish-speaking country), its social, economic, and political aspects, and some literature as well, since I have some books to study. I'd also like help improving my pronunciation. The idea is to share life experiences, conversations, cultural outings, or time spent in nature. Cultural exchange is what motivates me. Learning from each other. Two or three hours a day of conversation and practice in both Spanish and French. Depending on the needs, one or two hours of help around the house: cooking meals and eating together, tidying up, participating in daily maintenance, cleaning a room, etc. A maximum of four to five hours per day.
  
  Deseo comunicar con un hispanohablante nativo : La ayuda del hispanohablante sería conversar conmigo en español - una ayuda para profundizar el idioma, la cultura del país (de España o de un país hispanohablante), lo social, económico, político... Algo de literatura también, tengo obras que estudiar. Ayuda para mejorar mi pronunciación.
  La idea también es compartir momentos de vida, charlas, salidas culturales o en la naturaleza. El intercambio cultural entre nosotros es lo que me anima. Aprender los unos de los otros.
  2 o 3 horas al día de conversación y práctica del idioma español y francés. Según las necesidades,
  1 o 2 horas de ayuda en la casa: cocinar para preparar la comida y comer juntos, recoger cosas... participar en el mantenimiento cotidiano, con la limpieza de algún cuarto... Entre 4 y 5 horas como máximo al día.

  El intercambio lingüística es el objetivo de este workaway. Un fuerte interés en ayudar a profundizar mis conocimientos del idioma es necesario. A cambio, te puedo enseñar francés y conversar en francés.

  Hébergement

  The bedroom of one of my children who no longer live at home. Three meals a day shared with me, with the Workaway host participating in the preparation once a day. Two days off per week, usually weekends, but we can adjust this to the Workaway host's needs. Essentially a short stay, one to two weeks, as we arrange between us.

  We are very close to Foix, at the foot of the Pyrenees, next to a train station that runs from La Tor-de-Carol-Enveitg to Toulouse. A rural setting, yet close to a small town and with all amenities.
