Description
I am British and my wife is Sicilian, Italian. We have a permaculture project on the go. Our land is 17 acres (5.2 hectares) a river and mountains. Near the Madonia national Park. Its in a valley and 5 minutes by car from the village of Lascari (20 min by foot), 7 Minutes to the sea and 15 minutes from the town of Cefalu.

We need general help with our land. Planting, weed clearance, building, picking and planting fruit (spring) and vegetables (mainly winter months) and olives (October/November), cooking ,general maintenance, cutting wood, constructing dry walls. swale digging, tree planting. Trail clearing. Help looking after donkeys, horse. cats and gold fish.

The Neighbourhood:
Closet Village: Lascari
The historic town of Cefalu, with many shops, restaurants, pasticceria's, boulevard at the sea (Lungomare), terraces and its famous ice cream is 15 minutes drive (8 km).
From the house the large and quiet beach between Lascari and Campofelice is easy reached (10 minutes drive). Trips can be arranged.
Getting Around
The traveling time from the airport Punta Raisi in Palermo is 1 hour and 15 minutes by car. Also there is a train from the airport to Palermo Central Station, and to the train station of Lascari. From the Catania airport it is 2 hours and 30 minutes by car. Please be aware at the moment the Catania – Palermo motorway is closed (check before travelling). At both airports there is car rental available. Lascari has a railway station pick up can be booked upon request.
