  Description

  If birds and ants can build their nests and living spaces, we humans can do the same. Building a nest has never been this difficult and expensive for the human species in history.
  
  The motivation to create a Toprakev (Adobe house) and permaculture living space came from here. First, we built our adobe house to a large extent. At the same time, the permaculture design of the garden continued. Earth oven, compost, green roof (orchard) and holistic designs were added.
  
  The process continues in our field with olive, pine and different types of Mediterranean trees. These designs will continue according to the principles of permaculture. An endless design, addition, sometimes subtraction and a living space that approaches life holistically... These works continue in a spacious field on the edge of the mountains, a little outside the village, with the support of my sister, son, neighbors and friends.
  
  What we need to do now is water harvesting (pool) and irrigation system, bamboo coop, digging a cellar inside the hill, designs inside the Toprakev, planting and harvesting and activities that will come to life with the ideas of the people who will come... Accommodation is possible in Toprakev.
  
  This area that has been created is open to everyone's use and free of charge for good purposes. I am an English teacher, children's book writer, international school coordinator, a person from Antakya. The more we can bring the people of the whole world together, the better...

  Kuşlar, karıncalar yuvalarını ve yaşam alanlarını inşa edebiliyorlarsa biz insanlar da bunu başarabiliriz. Yuva yapmak tarihin hiçbir döneminde insan türü için bu kadar zor ve pahalı olmamıştı. Torpakev (Kerpiç ev) ve permakültür yaşam alanı var etme motivasyonu buradan çıktı. Önce kerpiç evimizi büyük oranda yaptık. Aynı anda, bahçenin permakültür tasarımı devam etti. Yeryüzü fırını, kompost, yeşil çatı (bostan) ve bütünlüklü tasarımlar eklendi. Zeytin, çam ve farklı türlerde akdeniz türü ağaçların olduğu tarlamızda süreç devam ediyor. Permakültür ilklerine göre de bu tasarımlar devam edecek. Bitmeyen bir tasarım , ekleme, kimi zaman çıkarma ve hayata bütüncül yaklaşan bir yaşam alanı... Köyün biraz dışında dağların kıyısında ferah bir tarlada ablam, oğlum, komşular ve dostların desteği ile bu çalışmalar devam etmektedir. Şimdi yapmamız gereken, su hasadı (havuz) ve sulama sistemi, bambulardan kümes, tepe içinde mahzen kazma, toprakev içi tasarımlar, ekme biçme ve gelecek olan insanların fikirleri ile hayat bulacak faaliyetler...
  Toprakevde konaklama mümkün. Yaratılan bu alan, iyi amaçlar için herkesin kullanıma ve ücretsiz karşılıksız açıktır.

  Traditional life in the village. Sitting at the traditional coffee houses and chatting with local people. Easy to go down town of izmir (30km) and hang around. Diversity in city life. we organise meeting with friends. We bring volunteers to skills and help them meet children to exchange skills and experience. I hope to learn new skills and cultural aspects from the volunteers.

  Aide

  Making earth bricks, building earth cellar, pool, chicken house, interior desiging, cooking, setting up watering system, gardening, I will share all my skills and background by doing and describing together. (I was born and grew up in a traditional earth house and learnt how to build an earth house with my family and neighbours).
  
  The point is not work only but to spread the skills and make frienship and spread the skills all around the world.

  Hébergement

  we have two houses to stay in. One is the earth house and the other one is my perminant apartment in the center of the village (2 km far from the aerth house). We offer beds, sheets and other necessary things for sleeping and shower. Three meals a day. Cooking and eating together. Usually traditional dishes usually shared for feeling of family... I cook mediterranean and middles eastern dishes. Of course my sister is better than me :)
