  Description

  We started our activities in 2000 with the assistance of mothers in distress, through the creation of a solidarity group between women gathered in the context of religious activities. The group was later formalized as an NGO in 2004. We are women facing precariousness, who decided to act to change their lives. situation and improve their environment.
  
     We are in Cotonou, the economic capital of Benin in West Africa where children and women are the most disadvantaged, in a context of widespread poverty, where culture is not favorable to gender equality and where children's rights are poorly respected.
  
   We started a nursery and daycare center in 2008. The purpose of this center is to provide an area of ​​protection and education for children, help and training for women in difficulty, including single mothers, single mothers and out-of-school girls. providing services that help families in general. The resources to run the center were planned to come from wealthier families to whom the center offers services (nursery, nursery, nursery school).
  
  During our 10 years of experiences; the operation has been extremely difficult, in that the resources obtained from the services are insuf- ficient. Our activities in the center are:
  
  Daily cares for children (hygiene, meals)
  - children's education (nursery school, kindergarten, tutoring)
  - Children's Holidays (Holiday Camp, Christmas Celebration)
  -crafting and sewing and embroidery (in installation)
  -sensitization to the place of the mothers, the mothers-mothers, the members of the NGO and the population in general, on the problems:
  .Child's rights
  .Safety at work
  .promotion of women / gender and development.

  Also the city of Cotonou is at the seaside and has e Dantokpa which is one of the largest and most impressive The city of Ouidah which is the city par excellence of Vodoun and Ganvié which is one of the largest lacustrine villages in the sub region are less than 25km from us.
  
  We guarantee a welcome and a friendly atmosphere, so that you feel at home. "In Benin the foreigner is king" .Also you will freely choose the activities that you would like better. Our activities will allow you to discover Beninese culture, to learn, to share the joy of children every day; to improve your creativity; give and receive on major issues of the environment.

  Aide

  We wish to welcome volunteers / trainees / cooperants, to obtain:

  *️️️️️️️️️️️️ the creation and animation of a website;
  *️️️️️️️️️️️️ supervision of children (class, tutoring for elementary school children, daycare, summer camps, learning English, prospecting, training and awareness of adults on certain topics).
  We wish to welcome volunteers / trainees / cooperants, to obtain:

  Current specific needs:
-We are looking for people with good communication skills. Our foundation is growing up and we want more visibility on the different social network ( instagram, TikTok, Facebook). The volunteer who come here should be able to animate them as much as possible everyday. 
- One of the other mission, will be to find other partnership and continue are crowdfunding campaign.

  Community needs
Our guests/volunteers are not really aware of the needs of the community. It is a very poor community where there is a great need for toys for kids, learning materials like books, pens.
  
  That's why we request anyone with that kind heart to at least help with any amount of finance affordable. I had feedback to include this to the page as volunteers could bring the above from their countries.

  We have a room for two with mattresses one place .We can also help for cooking in our kitchen. Market is close of our place the were we have rice, pasta, beans, sweet potato and yams, flour or maize starch, lemongrass tea, bread, fruit, fish, milk cheese, flour fritters wheat and many others.
