  Description

  We are a family of three. I am a single mom raising two amazing daughters- aged 8 and 11. We live on the beach in Roberts Creek. We are fairly eco-minded and have many projects pending on the home front. Grandma comes to visit from time to time. My project focus is on house painting, gardening, and house maintenance. I have kayaks and canoes that you are welcome to use.

  We love to travel and would very much like to hear about where you have been and how it is going. My cultural heritage is rooted in the Czech Republic and Vojvodina although my Czech language skills are pretty low! I have a kayak and canoe and live on the beach and you are welcome to explore the beaches and lovely forests near by.

  Aide

  I need help painting the outside of my house, gardening and general house maintenance. I also need help with some small carpentry projects. There is always garden work to be done- it never ends. I also need help building a fence in the garden. I joined Work Away last year but have not been able to participate until now- so looking forward to giving this a try!

  Hébergement

  A bedroom in our house and a shared bathroom. There is only one kitchen in the house and we are happy for you to join our meals. There is also a heritage cabin on the beach if you wanted to camp in there- however there isn't any electricity or plumbing and would be using our bathroom and kitchen in the main house.

  Autres infos...

  There is much written about Roberts Creek and I think that the best part is the natural scenery- especially the fantastic beaches and forests. Of course there is an artsy cafe, a health food store and yoga studio- all within walking/biking distance of the house. We are on the bus route as well.
