  Description

  We are a fun couple living in central Los Angeles within walking distance to shopping, cafes and restaurants. We are seeking workawayers to help take care of our two friendly dogs and do some light cooking during the month of July.
  
  One dog is older and needs some assistance with a sling getting around - but is still very active and loves spending time outside and (passively) playing with her favorite people! Because she needs support - we need people willing to be at the house (leaving no more than 4 hours at a time) Monday through Thursday, but zero duties most Fridays and all Saturdays and Sundays to explore LA or do weekend trips away.
  
  We have a lovely home with a private bedroom and bathroom dedicated to Workawayers, and resort-style backyard and pool for relaxing.
  
  High speed WiFi and dedicated work area - perfect for digital nomads. You need to be here for the dog, but work is very light!

  Travelers will interact with us in English (or Croatian, German and Spanish) and have access to our multi cultural home (We are Croatian and Australian by birth). They will enjoy the local area with easy access to hiking, conservation areas and diverse neighborhoods. We are a fun, young-at-heart couple who are extremely well traveled and have both benefited from amazing host families during our early travel years. We’re committed to ensuring this is a fun and rewarding stay for Workawayers!

  Aide

  Main role is taking care of two friendly, older dogs. They need feeding morning and night and to be assisted into the yard every 2 - 3 hours to relieve themselves and for some outside time.
  
  Our younger dog loves two short walks around the neighborhood a day. Our older dog needs some assistance with a sling getting in and out of the house so we do need workawayers who are generally willing to stay close to the home (not leaving for more than 3 - 4 hours at a time). We can work from home Fridays and are here to take care of the dogs over the weekends so you can be completely free these days and even take weekend trips away.
  
  They also love swimming in our backyard pool, and love general attention - ear scratches and belly rubs are always welcome!
  
  Some light cleaning (vacuuming dog hair) but mainly just cleaning up after yourselves and being respectful of the space! Lots of time off during the day to work on other projects or explore close to home.

  Private room (queen size bed or two singles can be accommodated) and dedicated bathroom. Television and sitting area in room. Lovely backyard with pool and lounges. Bicycles available for use. Fitness equipment available for use. Perfect for couples or digital nomads - we can provide a dedicated office/workspace separate to the bedroom if needed.
  
  Will consider families and can make more space available.
