My stay at Omar's hostal was very nice !
This couple is friendly, they provide a nice room and breakfast for a couple of hours of help per day ! i felt very good in this place ! They can give you plenty of tips and recommandations if you want to hike/climb around here !

I volunteered for 1 week with Omar and had a great time. It was a perfect way to acclimatise and prepare for all the amazing hikes and climbs in Huaraz and practice my Spanish.

Omar has a quaint hostel on the NE side of town that attracts strong climbers from around the globe. My duties included serving breakfast and painting walls. Communication was mostly done through WhatsApp, and Omar is a climber himself and also considerate & flexible

I stayed a week and a half with Omar and it was wonderful! Omar is really kind and chill and helped me set up all the hikes I wanted to do. He allowed flexibility in the work schedule to go on treks and even took me bouldering with his friends and was so patient with my fear of heights, haha! Thanks, Omar! It was a great experience.

Tenerlos a Simon y a Genesis en el Hostel fue de gran ayuda, son unos chicos muy responsables y tranquilos, me ayudaron a mantener limpio la casa todos los días y a dar desayunos a los huéspedes.

Omar is a great host, very friendly and helpful. The work was preparing breakfast and cleaning around all done in the morning, so we had a lot of free time to explore Huaraz. Our stay was good and tranquil! The work you need to do is quite easy, only the day to day tasks. This way you have free time to do tours (Omar can help you with that) and to get to know Huaraz. It could be better if we had more time to stay and money to go to more places! There are lots of beautiful places to go near to Huaraz!
