Simple life in an old village above Lake Maggiore, Italy

  Description

  My name is Paolo.
  I have a very little old house in Miazzina (above Verbania), a mountain village called a balcony on lake Maggiore. No cars inside the village. My house is little and simple, the toilet is a tiny room just outside the house, no shower but in summer It is possible to take a bath in a mountain stream nearby. Few meters out of the house, the village ends and the wood begins. In the meadows near home is possible to pick up wild herbs for salads. Only vegan and vegetarian food.
  No wi-fi. I have a cat.
  In the free time we can hike together.
  In this period the work required is essentially gardening with hand tools and painting a railing on the balcony.
  
  Important: during the week i have to go to Milano for work and commitments. So this announce particularly fits a couple or a person who feels comfortable staying alone for some days.
  
  About me: I am interested into trekking (in the area there are wonderful itineraries), massage, contact improvisation, South Italian dances, sharing stories and experience.
  
  Mi chiamo Paolo, ho una casetta a Miazzina (VB ), un paesino chiamato il balcone sul Lago Maggiore, nei vicoli non ci sono automobili. La casa è semplice, la toilette è all'esterno, ci sono solo WC e un rubinetto, no doccia. Poco oltre la casa iniziano i prati e iI bosco. Nei prati vicino a casa si possono raccogliere erbe per le tisane e le insalate. Il cibo offerto dalla casa è vegano, il cibo vegetariano è ok. Non c'è wi-fi, in compenso ho un gatto.
  Durante la settimana devo andare 2 o 3 giorni a Milano per lavoro e impegni.
  I miei interessi sono il trekking (in zona ci sono bellissimi itinerari), il massaggio, lo yoga, la condivisione di storie e esperienze.

  During free time you can be alone or sometimes we can trek together in the nearby, learn to recognize trees and plants, learn the art of massage.

  Aide

  I need help for the garden, for cleaning old paths and for planting signs with placenames in the forest, in this period also for painting a railing and fixing an old wash-house. Only hand tools, no motors.
  Besides I have a project of collecting witnesses about past life in the villages in the area, i make video interviews, i expecially need to learn video editing by Premiere pro.
  I am also very interested into exchanging experience and knowledge about massage.
  
  Mi serve aiuto per preparare l'orto, per il ripristino dei vecchi sentieri nel bosco e per la posa di cartelli con i toponimi dei luoghi, in questo periodo anche per verniciare la ringhiera del balcone e riparare un vecchio lavatoio.
  Mi serve inoltre aiuto per un progetto di raccolta di testimonianze della Resistenza e della vita nel passato di Miazzina e dei paesi di montagna della zona. Faccio interviste video. In particolare mi serve imparare il montaggio video con Premiere pro.
  Mi interessa molto anche scambiare esperienza sul massaggio.

  I am interested into intuitive massage.
  I try to live in an healthy way, both phisically and spiritually. I eat organic food and am essentially vegan. I am open to differences but alcool and drugs are not compatible with my hospitality. Smoking is not allowed inside. When I am there, I ask my guests to switch off their mobiles in shared rooms, not to absorb electromagnetic radiations.
  
  Sono interessato al massaggio intuitivo.
  Da più di 30 anni ho adottato uno stile di vita al cui centro c'è la salute, sia fisica che spirituale, cercando comunque di evitare rigidità inutili, mangio cibo biologico e sono essenzialmente vegano, sono interessato è curioso della diversità ma alcol e droghe non sono compatibili con la mia ospitalità. Chiedo anche di tenere spento il cellulare in casa per evitare di assorbire radiazioni elettromagnetiche.
