Description
Hello there.
We live in Tbilisi 40 minutes from the city center by bus.
The house is located in one of the outskirt districts of Tbilisi.
It is a very calm area and only a 5-10 minute walk from the bus stops and grocery shops.
We have a cabin and the area around it has some small building projects such as making a fence and so on.
There is also another small building in progress next to the cabin and currently, there is plenty to do.
I am looking for a volunteer who loves to be in nature and loves to interact with animals because we have three dogs and one cat.
We are a very open-minded family and love other cultures and people.
We lived abroad before, so being around foreign people is not a strange thing for us.

You can spend time in our beautiful city and visit attractions or remain in nature and tranquility.
It is very fun to roast some sausages over the fire after work or have some Georgian barbecue which everyone loves.
The cabin is located on a small hill and has a great view of the city, it is great for those who like city views from above.
We take our dogs to the cabin quite often and they are familiar with the area, so if you enjoy being around pets, they would be happy to play with you. (especially Tori because she loves bringing sticks to humans)
It is very nice here for someone who likes to experience camp life or to live in an off-grid cabin for a week or two.
You can learn a little bit of Georgian from us, for fun :)
Aide
Help is needed mainly in building the second room and small things around the area:
- building a fence (which includes digging small holes for fence pillars and connecting the fence parts with wire)
- there are small stones available in the area, these stones can be used to add to the fence structure or wall of the new room next to the cabin.
- cutting bushes and small trees, which can be used later as firewood.
- it is mostly building and gardening.
- it would be great if you have experience with using tools, for example a saw, hammer, screwdriver, and so on.

I can help you with English, Russian, Georgian, or Swedish. If you speak German, I’d be happy to practice together. My brother also speaks Georgian fluently, advanced Russian, and almost fluent English.
Hébergement
The main accommodation is the cabin itself, it is about 4 meters long and 3 meters wide, built mostly of wood and sawdust inside the wall and under the floor to keep it warm in winter.
- the area is supplied with water.
- there is another small building "outhouse" (toilet).
- there is a possibility to charge your phone, laptop, or a power bank at the house where we live which is only a few minutes' walk from the cabin.
- for the internet connection, we can give you a sim card with an unlimited internet subscription which you can use while you're staying at our project.
- in the cabin, we are planning to install a small portable fireplace for the wintertime. (can be used for cooking as well or warming food up)
- there will be also a portable campfire that has fuel and can be started instantly and used to cook for yourself at the cabin where you'll stay.
- We will supply you with food and you will be able to cook for yourself.

The fact that you are willing to volunteer is already a sign of how great of a person you are.
I myself have done work-away and EVS volunteering programs in several places and I appreciate people who do similar things.
