  Description

  I am retired and want to go a and visit our daughter for a few weeks during February 2019. My wife is still working and is out of the house most the week, as is our other daughter who is still at school. My wife is Italian, and I am English. Our one year old Springer dog is very active and needs some company during the day and to be taken out. We have a fairly large garden, and I am behind on some outside jobs which need attention.

  We live in a quiet and fairly remote Devon village, not far from the coast and Dartmoor, ideal for relaxing in the countryside. We are about 20 minutes walk from the nearest bus stop and the local pub (we have bicycles, though). My wife is Italian, and our daughter (17) will also be at home. If you need somewhere to rest up in a quiet place, without too much to do, and get to know Devon a bit, this will be a good opportunity for you.

  Aide

  We need some short term help (about three weeks) during February 2019 while I am away. We have a young dog which does not like to be alone all day and needs some exercise. If you enjoy gardening there are a few jobs that could be done outside. Family will be here in evenings and at weekends, but usually you would be alone during the day.

  Hébergement

  You will have your own room in the house, and are free to use the kitchen when you like, though we'd prefer to eat together in the evenings and at weekends. This is a non-smoking house, and we run a vegetarian kitchen, so we would like you to respect that.
  
  You will prepare your own breakfast and lunch at your own convenience. If you have any special ingredient requests beyond what is already available we will attempt to accommodate you (within reason!).

  We are near Totnes, Dartmoor and the River Dart, and the south Devon coast - but would be reliant on local bus services unless you have your own vehicle.
