Description
Once upon a time, in a quiet beautiful corner of a faraway kibbutz, there was a mini-zoo where the kids used to come and play with the tiger and the monkeys.
When times have changed and the place was abandoned, Avner came and fell in love with the spot. He was a gifted sculptor and designer, with a passion for nature, arts and community life. Eight years have passed since then. Buildings were renovated and new ones erected from recycled materials, gardens were planted and harvested, people came and went, parties began and ended, workshops were held, and the place was transformed into a vibrant and casual community space.
A handful of people live here these days. We continue to build the place and tend to it, grow our own vegetables, host a variety of workshops and events (circus, hand-crafts, arts, etc.) and stay in touch with the slow pace of the Yizre’el valley.Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

Various tents and huts are scattered around the farm and used as living spaces for residents, volunteers and guests. You can have your own private space, or sleep in the public spaces - indoors or outdoors - if you prefer. We share the kitchen, outdoor shower and compost toilets. Your food is on us, and we eat most of our meals together, mostly vegetarian.
Autres infos...
There are beautiful hiking trails in the area. The Gilboa mountain ridge is a special nature reserve. There are several natural springs in the region. A dip in the cool water of a spring is recomended at the end of a working day. A few minutes drive from the farm is Bet-Shean, with the impressive ruins of a big roman city.
There is good public transportation, just a minute walk away.Informations complémentaires
