Description
We are family of four living in Akureyri the capital of North Iceland. The family members are Sigþóra (32), Logi (38), Jökull (9) and Bergur (5). Logi works as a fisherman and is therefore a certain time of the months at sea. We are busy and active family and spend lot of time skiing in the winter.

You will get an insight into a traditional Icelandic household. We are open to teach you about Icelandic culture and and show you around. We love to be out in the nature and you are welcome to join us in our activities, such as skiing, hiking, go to the swimming pool and more.

Aide
We are looking for female to help us with our home, with light household tasks and it would be nice if occasional cooking could be done, especially on the days where we go skiing, as we usually come home late. Also, look after our boys some afternoons if we have some things to do or work later.

Hébergement
The house has two floors. You would have a private room with WiFi access and a bathroom on the lower floor. The room has queen size bed and a sofa. Our room and kitchen are on the upper floor, so we are there most of the time. You will share the living room and bathroom/shower and kitchen with us.
You can cook your own food or share meals with us.

Akureyri is a beautiful town with many beautiful places near by to go see. There is a great nature and lot of activities to do, like hiking, skiing, riding horses, whale watching and more. There is also a lot of culture here, like arts, museum, concerts, bars and restaurants.
