Description
Hello! We are the Balasch-Cortada family, and we're looking for someone special to become part of our little family.
I (the mom) speak Spanish, Catalan, and English, and I’d love for you to speak English with the kids.
Of course, if you're interested in learning Spanish or Catalan, I’d be very happy to help you.
We’ve already had three au pairs who became like family to us. We truly value this kind of cultural exchange and do our best to make sure you feel at home from day one.
We're looking for a new au pair to join us starting in October 2025 and you’re welcome to stay as long as it feels right for you.

We live in a small town called Tornabous, just 1 hour from Barcelona and 30 minutes from Lleida, the main cities nearby.
Our area is very well connected, so it's easy to explore other parts of Catalonia during your free time.
At the same time, we enjoy the peace and charm of small-town life—quiet streets, friendly neighbors, and a slower pace that’s perfect for feeling at home and recharging. -

We will need your help mainly from Monday to Thursday:
• Monday: 3:00 – 6:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 – 6:30 p.m.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday are completely free.
Your main tasks will be to spend time with the twins—give them breakfast, play with them, and enjoy some time outdoors. Alex and I will take care of lunch, naps and baths. -

Hébergement
We live in a cozy one-storey house with a private garden and a swimming pool, perfect for relaxing during your free time.
You will have your own private bedroom and bathroom, so you’ll have your own space to rest and feel at home.
We also have a small studio upstairs, where Alex and I sometimes work. The atmosphere in our home is calm, friendly, and filled with natural light. -
