Description
Welcome to our center in Nepal, home to an FM Radio Station that has been operational for 16 years, catering to the rural areas of Nepal. The center has successfully organized numerous Agro Counseling Camps and Crop Treatment Programs. The radio station plays a pivotal role in serving the community by delivering current affairs, news, diverse perspectives, and agricultural consultation programs.
We make radio in Nepali language, but we like to get help with social media, webcontent, podmaking and other technical aspects. We are depending on advertising income, so we are always open to suggestions how we can attract more listeners. If you have ideas about fundraising, it would be a great advantage!
There are a few schools in the region where the students (age 10-16) would benefit of talking with English speaking foreigners. You could give guest lessons or just sit and talk with them.
Around our radio station we have a land where we grow a number of vegetables as a teaching example for in our training programs for farmers, like a botanical garden. Volunteers are welcome to help here, depending on the season.

Hébergement
We offer lodging in a solidly built house comprising four rooms. The adjacent block houses a radio station, and the residence is surrounded by farms. The picturesque location boasts a slightly elevated position from the National Highway, providing a scenic view of the villages from the rooftop.
We have a Kitchen in home to cook food. We can buy the needy things from market and cook there.

Situated just 20 kilometers west of the Nepalese capital, Kathmandu, this location offers convenient travel options for guests to explore various destinations. The villages are accessible via both gravel and non-gravel roads, with trails available as well. The area is equipped with telephone and mobile phone services, ensuring guests have constant internet access, allowing them to stay connected with the global community even in this remote village setting.
