  Description

  Hello, We are Jen and David and our tropical home and garden needs some help, We live walking distance to the beach and nature reserve in a quiet suburb. We are currently looking for a couple with practical experience. It usually works for us that your stay is around 7 days but this depends on the helper and how it goes for everyone. Currently needing help with painting (including prep), gardening and minor house maintenance.
  
  Let us know if you have anything else to offer, as we may be able to use your skills. Mealtimes, sharing the day's news, and hearing your travel and life stories are highlights of our Helpx experience. We would like you to also help cook the evening meal preparation and cleaning up, we all take that in turns. We have a well-provisioned kitchen. My parents live next door and often join us for a meal.
  
  We may also ask you to help at my parents' house. You must like dogs as we have 2 dogs and three chickens. Our home is within walking distance to Casuarina Beach and its amazing sunsets, and also close to the local shopping center and public transport. We have a tropical backyard jungle with loads of edibles, always looking to add more, and a relaxing all-blue pool to cool off in. The accommodation is a cosy air-conditioned caravan with a double bed.
  
  We are a non-smoking, meat-eating, household but happily eat vegetarian if that is your preference and you would like to prepare the meals. We expect you to be tidy and be house trained. 4 hours work, each for all generous meals and comfy and air conditioned accommodation. Happy to be flexible with how hours are worked if you wish to also see Darwin and the surroundings. We are looking for genuine responses and don't mind if your English is basic rather than an AI generated message. We prefer advance bookings and very rarely take helpers on short notice.

  We are a family of four with my parents living next door. You will become part of our extended family. Experience life in tropical Australia with locals. We live near coastal reserves and the ocean so the natural environment is very accessible. We are close to bike/walking paths and mountain bike tracks if you enjoy getting out and getting physical. Walking distance to the local shopping centre, markets, beach and bus routes.

  We are looking for experienced helpers.
  
  We are mainly needing help around the house - primarily gardening, maintainance, painting and always cooking. If you have a particular skill that may be useful let us know as it may be of use. My parents next door also often have jobs to do which we might ask you to help with. We ask for four hours a day each in exchange for all generous meals and accommodation in a caravan with a cool airconditioner. We are happy to be flexible about how it is worked if you would like to also take some time to explore Darwin and the surroundings. We are seeking practical, hands-on, hardworking helpers. We are not able to help with teaching English at the moment.
