We are a family of 4, living on a semi-rural property in beautiful Western Australia, only 30 mins to the city of Perth. 1 hour to Fremantle and beaches. We prefer couples,ie; two travelers together rather than singles. We live on 1 and a half acres in Helena Valley, backing onto a river with the bush on two sides. Nearby are wild kangaroos and beautiful sunset spots, which we are more than happy to introduce you to! We would like help with gardening and general house. We also have 2 very lovable dogs and some chickens and a sheep. Local buses and trains are not far and we are happy to drop you off at a convenient location.

We regularly go camping and bush walking and we are more than happy for you to join us! We are close to Perth for you to explore on your days off and we are more than happy to drop you off at local bus and train stops.

We have a variety of jobs. From general house chores to managing the vegetable garden and general gardening to making creek beds from rocks. Usually you can choose from the list of what takes your interest. We are interested in building a small earth house for backpackers to eventually stay in. We tried the bags, but hat was too hard. Now thinking of tyres, wood and mud. We are always up for ideas and are happy for you to try your own ideas.

We have a small caravan in the carport, or if you wish, we can set up a tent with queen full bed. You have full access to the main house and utilities. In exchange for your volunteering we also offer 3 main meals. Our weekend meals are quite relaxed and hopefully you are exploring our beautiful surrounds.
Local bus and train stops not far so you will have easy access to the city of Perth and Fremantle. We would love to show you the sunset walks at ZigZag hill and the wild kangaroos nearby. 10 mins to Midland, 30 mins to the city, 1 hour to beaches and Fremantle.

Campervans are welcome. In warmer weather they can park wither on the driveway or in the paddock near the fireplace. Unfortunately caravans will not fit.
As long as your pet is friendly, we are okay that you bring them. The only pet we d o not allow is cats due to the wide range of birdlife.
