  Description

  Hello. We are a growing family: my husband and I, two girls aged 4 and 1, two dogs, two horses, two ponies, and lots of chickens and ducks. We've chosen to abandon city life and are building our own home with a focus on self-sufficiency and sustainability. Both my husband and I have kept our jobs and are dedicating our free time, which fortunately isn't a small amount, to slowly realizing our dream. We're following a project designed by a permaculture expert, studying and building one element at a time (a vegetable forest, a "forest bomb," an "aquatic placenta," and drainage ditches). We also tend a small olive grove, manage the mares, and compost manure. We produce our own colorful eggs and have our own summer and fall vegetable gardens.
  
  We have a forest that we're currently letting rest, and we rarely collect firewood, as the photovoltaic system allows us to heat the house comfortably and economically. Our guests will have access to an outbuilding with a bathroom and kitchen. We'll be happy to share meals with our guests or leave them their own space. We're not vegetarians, but we eat very little meat and cheese. We both love cooking, and of course, one of our top priorities is ensuring our children eat healthily. The Farfa River runs through our property, and we're located in the heart of Sabina, perfect for wonderful hikes. We're looking for people with a car and the versatility to help us with the farm work, cooking, and caring for the children. We're considering both couples and individuals.

  Hébergement

  The people we will host will share the house with us, we will give them a private room on the same floor of ours and a bathroom. Of course we will provide also for the meals, we eat few meat and cheese but we are not totally vegetarians.
