  Description

  I live on 4 acres of land in the middle of Portugal. It is the most peaceful place on the outskirts of a village. 5 minutes drive from the nearest town. I live with 5 dogs, 4 cats and chickens and ducks and could do with some help keeping the land in check and doing odd jobs around the place

  Meal times will be shared. I am not vegetarian but am quite happy to cook vegetarian meals and there is always something for a snack or drink. The village has regular events throughout the summer, village meals, a fiesta etc. Here, in this tranquil setting, you will be able to learn about looking after the various fruit trees and olives. Taste the oil that comes from those trees. Learn about the process of creating the oil. Also help with art projects for the land. Learn Portuguese and English. You will be able to tour around the town and learn about the region of the Templars. There is a swimming pool which you have use of.

  Tasks needed includes helping with gardening, pruning trees, strimming and some general maintenance.

  The nearest city is 5 minutes drive. Plenty of evening life, a theatre and a cinema. I am a non smoker but don't mind smoking outside.
