We are a public school looking for a native English speaker who will be happy to spend some time with our kids at school. We are a large school with classes focused on languges (English, German, French and Russian) and sport. Our school is located in Břeclav, a town in the heart of the south Moravia. Břeclav is surrounded by nature and there are plenty of outdoor activities.
I am an English teacher at this school and I have also experienced workaway a few years ago. Therefore, I know this is an excellent opportunity for personal development, to meet a foreign culture or to travel. We want the same for you.
Our pupils are eager to learn and speak English. You will have a unique opportunity to benefit from this as they can share their (our) culture, traditions, typical food, ect. You will meet with locals, kids, young people and other residents every day.
Our target is to give student opportunity to learn and grow, to raise our students’ self-esteem, to support fluency and to reduce shyness.

Aide
If you are interested in teaching, you can also get some skills in teaching and learn from us and our students. You will be a partner of our English teachers and teach in tandem. It is important to be flexible and easy going. As part of this unique experience, you'll be involved in teaching, organising activities, and playing games with children and teens (8-15 years old). You’ll also take part in conversation lesson and tell the pupils about your country and traditions.
If you stay for a longer period of time you can also go for a trip or an excursion with our students.
During your working days you can get your lunch (for free).
We can offer you accomadation, lunch at our school canteen (during working days) and minimal wage with official employment contract.

If not working there are plenty of places you can visit. We are situated near The Lednice-Valtice Area which is a unique worldwide landscape complex with plenty of cultural and natural monuments. You can observe it on foot or by bike as there are planty of cycle -paths and turist paths. It is on the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This region is popular for its vineyards and wine cellers that you can visit and taste some good wine.
Beautiful cities such as Brno, Vienna (Austria) , Bratislava (Slovakia) or Olomouc are near by.
