  Are you tired of the hustle and bustle of city life? Do you crave a genuine connection with nature and culture? Well, you're in luck! My partner, Eric, and I welcome you to our humble multicultural abode in the serene hills of Ba Vi, just a scenic 30-minute drive from Hanoi.
  About Us:
  Eric and I, along with our five playful German Shepherds, have traded the chaos of city living for the tranquility of Ba Vi. While we run a business in Hanoi, our hearts truly belong to the countryside. We are looking for help with running this house/ greenhouse
  We have so far designed and built a Koi Pond an Aviary a greenhouse and a farmland (that we have leased next door) and aeroponic towers. We love DIY projects and are always on the lookout for more like minded people. Ba Vi is a popular local tourism destination which is an off track for International tourists. Ba VI gives you an experience of how local farmers actually live without an economy fueled by international tourism. It can give you a more localized understanding of Local Vietnam.

  * When we say Fresh Food we actually mean FRESH from farms nearby. We try to buy locally to support the local farmers.

  Requirements for Work:
  * We do not have active work at all hours generally we like to see what workawayers are most interested in and see where they can fit in. Generally not more than 5 Hours. Since language is a barrier we will support with local sight seeing. We do have a couple of bikes that you can use.

  What we can teach is about food gardening and tools/ self sustaining living. We are both well educated people who think of the planet first. We are trying to do things in a way that we can be more self sustainable which is not for the monetary benefits but for the sake of getting things less polluted and general carbon footrpint reduction. We would like to understand more views and opinions from different people.

  Aide

  General maintenace / gardening tasks. We have so many things to do at the house you can tell us what interests you the most and you can aid us with that activity. generally on an everyday basis we do some gardening work. we do not expect people to have experience on this we are always happy to teach. We are experienced but both of us are drained since we do run a business in the city. We generally have maids who already take care of cleaning inside the house and generally the cleaning part is not a big issue. It is the parts of our DIY prohjects that we need help with. Currently we are trying to implement a way to farm vegetables using plastic bottles. We are bioth well versed with Hydrophonic and aeroponis systems. We have around 12 fruiting trees and surrounded by hills.

  Hébergement

  We have 2 spare bedrooms with a shared restroom and a limitless supply of toileteries. (our main business in Hanoi deals with toileteries)

  We live 40kms north of Hanoi at the Foothills of Ba Vi mountain. Our house is on a lower side of a hill as well. We are surrounded by rice fields and a lot of fruiting trees. The place is perfect distance from the city which taken around 30minutes by car/bus and we could help in arranging transport for the same. There are multiple waterfalls in and around the area where the water is untouched and stays clear and locally renowned to have health benefits. These mountains are the first set of mountains that are closest to the Main parts of Hanoi. It is off track from most touristics areas for international tourists.
