  My name is Naya, and I'm a mother of two children, ages 11 and 14. I live in a rural house on the Malaga coast, in a small town called Maro. I have a large garden with avocado trees and live in a pleasant community of neighbors and friends. The beaches are within walking distance of where we live.

  Aide

  This August 2025, I will need a Spanish-speaking volunteer to help me care for my two teenage children, while I work at festivals from Thursday to Sunday every weekend in August. It's important that you can attend the entire month of August, and it's important that you are fluent in Spanish and that you have experience with, or at least an interest in, teenage children. They aren't very difficult. They live their lives with their friends and interests.
  
  Your help will be to ensure they return home on time, know where they are and when they return, and cook or feed them.
  
  Since they are older, this is simple. You can arrange many things with them.
  
  I just need them not to be completely alone while I'm away.
  
  All the festivals I'll be working at are in my area, some farther away than others. It's not certain that I'll be returning home at night.
  
  The last weekend of the month, you could perhaps accompany me to Cádiz with them for the last festival to take a trip. But it's not certain yet.

  Este mes de agosto 2025 necesitaré un Voluntario o una Voluntaria hispanohablante para ayudarme con el cuidado de mis dos hijos adolescentes, mientras que yo trabajo en festivales de jueves a domingo cada fin de semana en Agosto. Importante que te puedes someter al mes entero de agosto, y es importante que tu español es fluido Y que tienes experiencia o al menos en interés niños adolescentes. No son muy difíciles. Hacen su vida con sus amigos y sus intereses.
  
  Tu ayuda será asegurar que vuelvan a casa a tiempo y saber dónde están y cuando vuelven y cocinarles algo o darles algo de comer.
  Como son grandes esto es sencillo. Puedes acordar muchas cosas con ellos.
  Yo solo necesito que no están completamente solos mientras que estoy fuera.
  Todos los festivales donde voy a trabajar es en ma zona algunos más lejos que otros. No es seguro que vuelvo a casa en las noches.
  El último fin de semana del mes igual me puedes acompañar a Cádiz con ellos para el último festival para hacer un viaje. Pero no es seguro aún.

  For me, the experience of hosting a volunteer is an opportunity to spend time together and collaborate with someone I've never met before. We can both learn a lot and, hopefully, become friends. We've had many good experiences already and hope to have more.
  
  I'm looking for someone independent who more or less knows what they're doing, if that makes sense. A mature adult who isn't afraid of children. Haha.
  
  I like to talk and have good conversations, but I also value moments of privacy and silence, and the time I spend with my children. I think it's important that we can respect each other, ask if everything is okay, and share our needs at all times.
  
  Smoking is not allowed inside or outside, and I can't host people who use marijuana or hashish daily. I also don't use alcohol excessively.
  
  Your help will be from Thursday to Sunday for the general care and supervision of my children. Every day. But it's not hard. You just have to be there for them.
  
  You're free from Monday to Wednesday.
  
  If you need to go to town, Nerja is a half-hour walk away. It's a small but beautiful tourist spot, with restaurants and shops.
  
  If you enjoy hiking or walking in the mountains, this area is ideal. It's located at the beginning of a natural park, with beautiful beaches and landscapes. The town of Maro is also charming and closer, although it only has a few food shops and restaurants. Almost everyone who comes here wants to stay.

  Para mí, la experiencia de recibir a un/a voluntario/a es una oportunidad para convivir y colaborar durante un tiempo con alguien que no conocía de antes. Ambos podemos aprender muchas cosas y, con suerte, acabar siendo amigos. Hemos tenido ya muchas buenas experiencias y esperamos tener más.
  
  Busco alguien independiente que más o menos sabe lo que hace, si eso es tiene sentido. Un adulto maduro que no tiene miedo de niños. Jaja
  
  Me gusta conversar y tener buenas charlas, pero también valoro los momentos de privacidad y silencio, y el tiempo que paso con mis hijos. Me parece importante que podamos respetarnos mutuamente, preguntar si todo está bien y compartir nuestras necesidades en cada momento.
  
  No se permite fumar en el interior ni en el exterior y no puedo recibir a personas que consuman marihuana o hachís a diario. Tampoco uso excesivo de alcohol.
  
  Tu ayuda será de jueves a domingo para el cuidado y vigilancia general de mis hijos. Todos los días. Pero no es duro. Solo tienes que estar a su disposición.
  
  De lunes a miércoles tienes libre
  
  Si necesitas ir al pueblo, Nerja está a media hora caminando. Es un lugar turístico pequeño pero bonito, con restaurantes y tiendas.
  
  Si te gusta el senderismo o caminar por la montaña, esta zona es ideal para eso. Está situada al inicio de un parque natural, con playas y paisajes hermosos. El pueblo de Maro también es encantador y está más cerca, aunque solo tiene algunas tiendas de comida y restaurantes. Casi todas las personas que vienen aquí quieren quedarse.
