Welcome to our ecovillage a vibrant and pioneering community nestled in the picturesque mountains of Andalucia, Spain!
Established in 2022, our EcoVillage is a thriving hub of sustainable living, where 16 adults and 11 children are crafting a harmonious lifestyle on our expansive 40-hectare rural land.
Our home is surrounded by the natural beauty of almond and carob trees, just a 15-minute drive from the stunning Costa Tropical and an hour from the historic city of Granada. The journey to our village is an adventure in itself, as you traverse the Rambla, a scenic dirt path. Please note that vehicles need to be higher off the ground than usual due to the uneven path and rocks, ensuring a safe and smooth arrival for campers and caravans. At times, a yurt or mobile home for 4 people is available.
We are passionate about fostering a strong sense of community. We gather for shared vegan and non-vegan meals, and are excited to embark on projects like our permaculture veggie garden, shaded gathering spaces, a natural playground for our children, and an outdoor community kitchen.
We invite volunteers who are eager to lend a hand, whether you bring fresh ideas, physical energy, or a desire to learn about building and living sustainably off-grid. Join us in creating a sanctuary of harmony and growth, where every contribution helps us thrive together.

We're seeking enthusiastic travelers to assist with various projects in our community. Your skills can contribute to building wooden tables and benches for shared meals, repairing dirt roads damaged by heavy rain, and starting a permaculture/syntropic vegetable garden. Additionally, we need help with clearing trees to prevent wildfires and building and maintaining sustainable houses. Join us in making a positive impact and enjoy a fulfilling experience in our EcoVillage! 🌿🔨

Our EcoVillage offers comfortable accommodations in yurts and a mobile home, each designed to house 2 to 4 people. These cozy spaces are equipped with a shower, kitchen, and a dry composting toilet, ensuring a pleasant and sustainable stay. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea and the surrounding mountains, and experience the charm of off-grid living with modern conveniences in the heart of nature.🛖🌿🏖️⛰️
In 15 minutes you can put your feet in the sea and shop at a small supermarket. Every Saturday there is a market close by. The nearest bigger town is Motril, a 30 minute drive.

Our EcoVillage is nestled in a remote and serene area, where a car is essential for shopping, day trips, and exploring the beautiful surroundings. The Mediterranean climate blesses us with warm summers, often exceeding 30°C, making it too hot for outdoor work during this season. Therefore, we do not host volunteers in the summer months, ensuring both comfort and safety.
We cherish privacy and tranquility, so we kindly ask for no loud music. Instead, embrace the opportunity to create your own music and live respectfully with nature, as we are a sustainable community.
In just 15 minutes, you can dip your toes in the sea or shop at a quaint local supermarket. Every Saturday, a nearby market offers a vibrant experience. For more extensive shopping and amenities, the larger town of Motril is a 30-minute drive away. We organize weekly trips to supermarkets in Motril and regularly visit our local markets, providing a chance to experience the local culture and community spirit.

Our off-grid community in the Costa Tropical is equipped with internet access in most homes, supporting our online work. This setup allows us to thrive professionally while enjoying sustainable living in nature. 🌿💻

Attention campervan and caravan travelers! Our EcoVillage welcomes you with access to water and compost bins, though please note we do not have a designated pit for campervan waste. While the journey to our community via the Rambla is wide enough for vehicles, it is advisable to ensure your campervan is not too low to the ground due to the rocky terrain. Rest assured, we navigate this route daily with our regular cars, and lorries do as well. We look forward to your visit and the unique experiences you'll bring to our community! 🚐🌿

Our 40-hectare land is home to roaming dogs, some of whom are dedicated guardians of their homes. Please be aware that our area is also inhabited by wildlife such as wild boars and goats. If your dog(s) is well-trained and respectful of our space, they are warmly welcome to join us! 🐾🌿
