Come to our ecological resort and help on our eco farm in Ao Nang, Krabi, Thailand

Description

This is an Ecological Resort in the heart of Ao Nang, Krabi, Thailand. We have an organic farm, stunning views of limestone cliffs, and easy access to the beaches. Our resort is looking for a Workawayer to help maintain our permaculture garden that provides farm-to-table nourishment for guests at the hotel. Our farm also hosts yoga classes and vegetarian cooking opportunities for guests at the hotel. Our staff is like family and we are excited to welcome a Workaway member into the mix!

Ao Nang is bursting with fresh foods, people, and experiences to widen your world-view. We are the hub to access dozens of islands, caves, and mountains. Get in touch with nature and engage with our Thai staff. Workawayers can practice language skills while interacting with staff and guests.

Aide

ECO FARM:
- maintain landscape
- implement & maintain a compost system
- regular maintenance of the farm (weeding, watering, etc)
- help implementing new projects to enhance guest experience
- New ideas to make our garden the best it can be!

*️️️️️️Expected help 5 hours per day, 5 days per week (sometimes less depending on the weather)

Hébergement

Workawayers will be housed in a staff quarters within walking distance to the hotel. A private room with a shower is available. Volunteers will also have food provided at the hotel canteen. There are no cooking facilities available, but there are nearby markets with fresh fruit and produce nearby! Volunteers may use the hotel facilities during free time. There is a hotel shuttle to the beach and nearby town that is available to Workawayers as well.

Transport: volunteers may rent a motorbike to use in the area. There is also a hotel shuttle to Ao Nang beach & Andamana Beach Club (a private beach nearby)

Local Sights: Phi Phi Islands, Hong Island, Emerald Pool, Tiger Temple, Rock Climbing, Cave Kayaking. There are so many things to do in Krabi! Many local agencies can help you book a trip. Or make friends with one of the staff at the hotel and join them for a day of fun!

Time Off: volunteers are free to use the hotel facilities including the gym, pool, and shuttle service.
